    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This is your garden-variety red laser pointer. The build quality is quite good, paint finish is smooth and the button is responsive. The laser dot is well focused and reasonable bright for half a mW. Came with batteries installed.

    Cons: No markings on the laser that it is only .5 mW - I guess if you live somewhere where customs will confiscate higher power lasers, it would be helpful it if actually said on the laser that it is only .5 mW. Came in no package, other then a small plastic bag.

    Other: There are cheaper lasers on here, but overall I am happy.
