0.5mW Red Laser Pointer Pen (2*AAA)

Pros: *Small
*easy to use
*can trust it
*batteries should last a while
*pointer is cheaper than batteries!
Got opened by customs and was deemed safe... obviously.

Cons: *red... (although i already knew this)
*0.5mW (Same as above)
*Bad diverenge, although it is for presentations...
*Deep red (difficult to see)
*tiny holes in the dot (this laser has a wierd diode, not the normal round one)

Other: if you want a pointer for presentations or playing with your cat/animal.
get this, even though my cat doesnt like it yours might.
if you loose it, smash it, who cares. just buy another one or realise you need more power for your presentations...
the batts will last for hours of your rambling!

Pros: Laser pointer are always fun! Its shaped like a pen and comes with a clipon so you can clip it onto your shirt pocket. Build quality is decent and you just slip in two AA batteries and that's it.

Cons: Shipping was delayed a bit as Customs opened it first. The button to press the laser is a bit loose and there isn't an option to hold down the laser so you'll need to keep your thumb on it if you want it pointing. The laser dot seems to diverge over a distance and this makes the dot not as accurate.

Other: Fine laser for people who want a 0.5mW

Pros: - Switch feels nice and solid, although the metal button itself is loose
- It's all metal, there are no plastic parts on the outside
- Uses AAAs, much better than button cells
- My cats love it!
- After many hours of playing with the cats, it's still on its first set of batteries

Cons: - I bought two, one had a slightly off-centre laser module which made the beam reflect off the edge of the chrome tip. I gave that one to my friend :p

Other: Excellent for the price!

Pros: - Uses AAA batteries (rechargeable batteries work!)
- Pen is made of metal and feels very solid
- Priced very cheap
- Strong laser beam with great distance.
- Very stylish design that is suitable for business presentations.

Cons: - There are no cons to this product

Other: If you want to get a laser pointer then get this one. The biggest feature of the product is AAA batteries which are easily replaceable.

Pros: - Really bright, i can't believe it's only 0,5 mW, it is more like 5 mW
- No problems with the customs, even though the package said: red laser (in my country >1mW lasers are illegal, that's why i bought this one)
- Great build quality: entirely made of metal, feels really solid.
- Divergence can easily be adjusted

Cons: - Button is a little loose
- You can't see how to put the batteries in with the right polarity.

Other: Perfect for those who want a good and bright laser that will get past the customs.

Pros: Classy red laser pen. It looks really nice when holding it in your hand, it's the size of a normal pen. The pen also comes with a clip to clip it onto your shirt or something else. It's powered by 2 AAA batteries, which are really easy to find.

Cons: Not really a con but: Mine came in a grey color, not in black. Still looking nice though. Also some scratches on the grey paint but not that much, I mean, it's only 2 dollars.

Other: Buy it if you like, it's really a classy looking red laser pen and it feels comfortable in the hand.

Pros: This one accepts 2 AAA batteries/accumulators. Compared to my keychain lasers, this is a great plus. The AAA fit seamlessly in the tube.
The overall brightness goes well with the advertised 0.5mw.

Cons: This laserpointer does not produce a dot as expected from a laser. Its more of a large ellipsoidal area that this sku puts out. It seems that the collimator is totally missing from this laser diode.

Other: I find it strange that, when rating the product with the function above, the score increased - instead of dropping due to my lower rating...

Pros: I received my laser in the post earlier today, and from what I have seen so far, it looks great! It's much more powerful than the cheap $2 lasers you can buy at a $2 shop!
It's cheap and easy to hold, and uses AAA batteries, which are much easier to find and put in than those annoying button batteries.

Cons: The button feels a bit flimsy, and doesn't seem that secure, when you shake the laser the button rattles a bit. You need to press firmly to keep the laser shining.

Other: A cheap and affordable laser for presentations or just mucking around.

Pros: Very great laser pointer, nice design. It says 0.5 mW thats not true, this laser pointer is over 1 mW. Price is amazing for that one. Light point is visible at night more over 1000 feet. Also laser beam is focusable.

Cons: No box, could be better design - like green laser pointers (construction). No included batteries. Thats it.

Other: Absolutely great laser pointer for that price. As I said it's over 1mW!

Pros: It's a very good built laser pointer, yet I think it is too big. when it is like 50 meters away the diagonal length of the point would be like 50cm, which I think is way too big. other it is very easy to use.

Cons: It runs out of battery way too fast. I put in 2 AAA batteries and after like 3minutes of using it it already ran out of battery, I think this is way too fast. This also completly ruins the product. together with the diagonal length of the point at 50 meters away I have to say this product really diaspointed me for a DX item. Then again the price ain't that high too.

Other: It's not that good of a product, I'm personally very disapointed in it.
