What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: These are high quality leds with a bright light. Looking from the outside, they seem to be similar to ”brand leds” but the price is quite low compared to the branded ones. Pins seem to be relatively strong material.
Cons: I would not use these anywhere warm and / or cozy light is wanted, because the color is very white. There came no datasheet or any kind of technical specifications with the product so you can not actually know for example what kind of transformer to use with them (though some of the information is provided on the DX product page).
Other: I can recommend this product.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: white led in normal housing (5mm) but with more lightoutput when the max current 6omA is used.
Cons: They are , if the current may not exeed 60mA not near 1/2Watt, about 1/5 Watt should be the reasonable output.
Other: I advise DX to check and do the math so correct info can be given. By viewing inside the led , the dye is bigger than normal, the reflector is not, so the reflector is completely filled with dye, it is not possible for me to check the measurement of the blue ledcristal. I think it is not the intention to do the homework for DX but is is NOT said that the led can't handle 1/2 Watt , or can........
