Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nice and thin solder wire, contains a good amount of flux making it easy to work with.
Cons: None really.
Other: Buy some if you need thin solder.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Work well to solder fine-pitch smd pars with but might still need some extra flux. A lot of solder for the price.
Cons: None that I can think of...
Other: Good quality and flows easy!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -It has a ton of flux
-Its thin (i couldn't imagine having thinner wire)
-It really flows nice.
-Its super cheap and you get a enough to last you a long long time
-Its really nice and bendable. I usually put it into little balls when I want to do a lot (I liked it so much I used it for an art project. I doubt anyone else had melted rosin core metal on their project :P)
Cons: -Absolutely None
Other: This is some GREAT solder wire. It beats the radioshack wire any day. It's much better quality wire than radio shack and its so much thinner. Not to mention you get about 6 times more wire for like 3 dollars more.
Basically if you need to solder something (I have had some fun with it) than get it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very thin, ideal for those precission soldering works. Flows correctly.
Cons: Really not a con: very thin, read the description 0,5 mm diameter. I you whant to use like general soldering wire, it is not convenient. This wire is for precission soldering (example, manual smd soldering).
Other: Conclusion: Very cheap for a high quality soldering wire.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Huge amount of solder for the price. I can't see myself needing this much. Good amount of flux inside means this solder flows very smoothly. Great quality product, I'd buy more if I ever needed that much.
Cons: Solder is actually 0.6mm diameter, it's printed on the spool. Not a big deal, just could be a typo on the page.
Other: Good stuff. If you need small solder, this is what to get.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This wire is so thin it melts like ice on the soldering iron. Makes for quick, smooth electrical connections.
Cons: I originally gave it a build quality rating of 4 because the plastic spool was cracked in half when delivered, making it somewhat difficult for the wire to be dispensed. However, I changed it to a 5, since it's not the product's fault for poor packaging.
Other: Looks great, works great, great quality, plentiful quantity, at a low cost. If it could cook and do the laundry, it would be perfect!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Standard 0.5mm solder wire flux cored. Will help you soldering where you have very little solderinf pads, like smd components. Not sure if it is RoHs free( No Pb)
Cons: Wish DX had thinner solder wire as well!!!!
Other: Still very useful. A great improvement for me when I need to solder smd resistors and capacitors. To do better solders on these tiny components buy some extra flux and drop it on the pads, soldering will be perfect.

Pros: Superb solder for intricate work. Flows well and doesn't clump. Enormous amount for such a little price.I for one will definatley be purchasing more.
Cons: None whatsoever.
Nada.
Nowt.
Nothing
Zilch.
Other: Fantastic value. Large quantity. Superb quality. Well worth the money.
Superb solder for intricate work. Flows well and doesn't clump. Enormous amount for such a little price.I for one will definatley be purchasing more.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap
Good diameter
Seems to be melt, as good solder should
Cons: May have lead in it? (Should not be eaten like a licorice strap)
Other: Good value solder. I hope DX continues to sell and pester manufacturers to produce more solder like this.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: very good price for all you get will last a good amount of time very think nice for very delicate work has lead in it for some people this may be a con but i think solder is much easyer to work with if it has lead in it and it makes a much stronger bond
Cons: for some people the fact it has lead in it
Other: if u need good thin solder get it if not then theres really not much point lol
