Pros: Good resolution and pan/tilt functions. Easy instalation and great wifi signal. Nice design. It is possible to access camera live with a smartphone (tested with iPhone)

Cons: It is not possible to rotate (in a wide angle) vertically. Little expensive compared with other similar products. IPCMonitor (software included in package) is not well constructed and dificullt to setup

Pros: -Nice design and solid build -Sharp video even through double glazed window (day-twilight only) Night the IR reflects mostly of the glass -good sound pickup from 1 meter away on mic -Can alter the lum or turn off the IRleds -Very good rotate range both horizontal and vertically -Can record to SD Card ASF videos with sound and snap photo as soon as motion detected video captures for 10secs in HD 720p ideally best with sd card. can watch via webpage the files and download to pc or laptop etc faster then using ftp or email -one of the best 4 window motion detection so can move squares on capture screen to avoid trees etc the blow in wind to reduce false alerts/alarms

Cons: -Hard to setup as no DHCP by default or info on fixed IP used and the setup software fails on Vista and Win 7 however works on XP or if set Search tool compatible mode to xp service pack 2 (vista tested on only - win 7 may still fail) -The lack of way points.. only one can be set firmware last updated in March 2012 by looks googling - no info on website to visit for updates and no internal firmware web link to such a site - No Path folder for FTP so no way to store files from the camera in its own folder espc on NAS boxes like Netdrive and N2200 as they dont offer a pseudo root folder per user. Yet my $63 ip camera I also bought from here firmware has ways points and ftp path and sends 5 photos once movement (but not advance motion setting) so I know the cheaper camera have more functions and bug fixes so this camera should have somewhere if someone knows post a review and links and info on how to upgrade

Other: Excellent unit worth the price but could be made more useful when or if a firmware upgrade happens to address the faults of no FTP folder path and way points and specifying the number of snaps once motion detect at the moment it only sends on photo which means it could detect motion and still miss capturing a persons face. (but the SD card record function helps solve some of that but of course one likes to email to a server away from home in case the camera is stolen LOL)
