Pros: A tool that should be present in your toolbox It's small and handy, is covered with rubber grip and smooth to the touch. The LCD screen is very convenient, and gives all necessary information, also is not heavy, so it is welcome. It has a laser pointer to indicate in which area measure temperature.

Cons: The measuring range is quite short for the rest nothing to highlight.

Other: Buy recommended. The price I see it cheap, and gives accurate temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees. The weight of this tool is approximately 80 grams, with battery included.

Pros: Easy to start: just supplied plug a battary into hilt. Easy to use: just press a **. Nice price. I use it to check a themperature of the body of my kids. I guess it is easiest way to do it.

Cons: Mind precision. ±1,5°C could be critical. You need to point it into ears to check a themperature of the body while device is really sencitive to the temperature of the wet (sweaty) skin. But in most cases it is not really problem

Other: I recomend to buy one. Simple to use, nice price, has s precision problems if you want to check temperarute of the body.

Pros: It's cheap, but well build. Plastic has a rubber-like covering, providing a very good grip. It's very simple to operate the thermometer. Laser spot could be switched off, you may chose between celsius and fahrenheit, and LCD screen could be lighted. According test use it is quite precise (tested this one only in range from 30 to -20C). 9V battery was included. :) So you can start to use it right from the box.

Other: Very good product for money.

Pros: A thermometer costs inexpensively, very simple in the use, measuring exactness is very good, a device is comfortable and has little weight.

Cons: Minuses did not find out while, maybe will show up after more protracted use.

Other: I very recommend specialists and amateurs this thermometer. After 17$ you acquire comfortable in the use, very exact measuring device.

Pros: The build quality seems pretty good. It takes standard 9 volt batteries. The laser sight makes it much easier to be sure what you're measuring. Plenty accurate enough. Intuitive controls - you don't really need the manual!

Cons: You cannot turn off the sound, which is loud! I can't measure temperatures at night, it will wake up the family!

Other: I would think anyone could find a use for this. I'm not sure if it would be useful for finding a person's temperature, but for food and other stuff, it's awesome!

Pros: Very good measuring range. Accuracy not tested, but on the paper it is very good. Good hand grip. Not the worst color and design. Has backlight on the panel/screen. Has a laser pointer for better precision.

Cons: Uses the odd 9V batteries. The user manual is not so clear about the precision range.

Other: For the price, fullfilled my expectations. And seems the better choice among the similar offers on DX, on cost X benefit. Who needs one, should buy this item.

Pros: Good quality plastic. Fits nice in hand. Easy to operate. Easy to find in dark places due to its bright orange color. Battery is included so you can start using instantly after delivery. Laser for aiming is quite powerful. Surprisingly accurate.

Cons: Since device based on measuring thermal radiation (a.k. black-body radiation), error increase greatly if object which is measured is white or reflective (mirror like, polished steal, snow) and also if other hot objects are near.

Other: Price-performance ratio is excellent. It is much cheaper than similar devices and accuracy is comparable with professional tools. Also acquire lots of black tape since most of surfaces require it for correct measurements.

Pros: -price -quality of plastic -ease of use -battery included - standard 9v square (most measuring equipments uses these). -screen has backlight bright enough for all applications -good manual covering all you need to know no more no less

Other: Surprised with quality. You will certainly get what you paid for.

Pros: * Light - doesn't make you hand tired after a few uses. * Simple and easy to use - point at fire. Can it be simpler? * Backlit display - useful for not well lit areas. * Battery included - 9V - can't yet report on battery life.

Cons: * Beeps too much - every time you let go the trigger it beeps. However, there is already an indication on the screen about the measurement. * The red dot is not the actual place you're measuring. It works best at 30-50cm measuring distance.

Other: Would recommend.

Pros: Accurate. Sleek. No-nonsense design. Professional looking. Great grip. Great plastic-rubbery texture on touch.

Cons: Power hog: if you forget the supplied 9V battery inside the machine, it can drain out it in a matter of days - even when not in use. Although the user manual states a error tolerance of 0.1% I found it more close to 5%. But still OK for me.

Other: Kind of expensive (for DX standards) but its reliability and usability make up for it. It is not THAT professionally precise, but depending on your intended use it may be enough - just bear this in mind.
