1.3" LCD Security Carbon Monoxide Alarm (85db/3*AA)

Pros: Like the title says, it seems to work. Now I can't really test it, sure I could hold it over a fire, but I don't want to because the alarm on this thing is loud and I mean really LOUD! Comes with a good English manual, explaining how to use it, where the best place is to hang it up and some general information about CO gas. The button in the middle is to test the alarm or to reset when the alarm is sounding. When the alarm is sounding, a concentration value for CO is shown in ppm on the LCD screen and the red LED will flash. The MAC value for CO is 25 ppm, the alarm will sound when the device detects 30 ppm. It has a power saving feature which means that at lower concentrations the time between beeps is longer than at higher concentrations. The green LED flashes every 30 seconds to indicate the device is working and when the batteries get weak it beeps once every 30 seconds to warn you and shows "LB" for Low Batteries in the LCD screen. It's cheap, where I live a CO detector costs at least twice as much.

Cons: It is f'ing loud! But I guess that's not really a con is it.

Other: Get one, or more, they can save your life.

Pros: Clear English instruction, feels solid, everything seems to work, this item could save your life so everyone should have it! The instruction even tells you what to do in case an incident occurs. Price is great if you compare it to local stores, the finish of the product is pretty good, it did not disappoint me at all.

Cons: None really about the product, you must buy some batteries separately like the add says.

Other: A must have at a third of the price I would pay at local shops in Holland. Very decent quality, doe not feel like it will break down soon or easily.

Pros: This security tool is a must have in your home. it works and warns you when the gas leakage occurs. I tested it, and the alarm on this security tool is loud and I mean really LOUD! Pros: It is a must-have device in hotels, bathrooms and any place where CO gas may occur. So I believe this device can save lives. I placed it on my ceiling and It warned me a few times that there is little CO gas in the room and I opened the windows.

Cons: I couldnt find any cons. Sorry :) But I think the alarm is sometime annoying. well this is not a con because this is what it must do...

Other: Don't place this device near the any heater. Because every heating device corrupts any electronic device near it.
