  • Decent Picture - Poor Sound

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Build quality is very good on this unit. Included bracket is nice and sturdy. Picture is crisp, especially during the day. Make sure to invest a bit more and get a camera with at least 420 TV lines like this one.

    Cons: Sound is horrible unless you are really close to the camera. Mic also picks up a lot of background noise. It could be that mine is bad, but if you absolutely need sound, look at something else or perhaps get a dedicated mic. Night vision could also be better but it's not that bad at all. My other Jin cameras (SKU 59954) have more LEDs and slightly better night vision.

    Other: Good value. Very good build quality. Nice picture, but poor sound.
