What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small, quite well built. Comes with standard screw-mount suction cup bracket that could be used with other cameras. The camera fits in a cradle that screws onto the suction-cup mount. Inbuilt speakers, screen and microphone. Motion detection record works well. Seems to have quite good battery life. Webcam feature seems to work well (looks like 640x480@30fps). Sadly, much better than the recording feature.
Cons: Resolution appears to be native 640x480 Video: Scaled and padded either side with black bars to reach 1280x960. Each frame appears to be recorded twice to achieve 30fps (while watching actual visual frame rate looks like 15fps) Video frames are over-compressed and lose too much detail. Drivers do not appear to be windows 7 compatible and once installed do not have an automatic uninstall. Device is bundled with two drivers which are not compatible with each other, installing both will cause both to fail. Under windows 7 this could be a major problem.
Other: Manufacturers should be honest with the device capability. Crippling what could have been a good, cheap device to give fake, really bad quality 1280x960@30fps (which is really badly compressed and stretched 640x480 at 15fps with each frame recorded twice) is a fast way to earn a reputation for dishonesty. Cannot honestly recommend this device, which is a shame as with a few minor changes and a little bit of honesty in the description would be a good buy.
