1.5" LCD Portable Digital Electronic Weighting Hook Scale (40kg Max/20g Resolution)

Pros: First of all, this item will give you a capability of measuring weight up to 40kg with the accuracy of 10g - yes, 10 grams or just 0.025% It is really small and lightweight - being compared to SKU 30248 which I've purchased some time earlier (see my review for it), it is 45% more lightweight (with batteries: 92g vs 134g) and 57% shorter (105mm vs 165mm).

Cons: Personally I don't like the idea of strap "growing" from inside the case, but it looks secure enough for not bothering about it.

Other: If you want to purchase a weighting hook - you most likely want to purchase this one.

Pros: We bought it for our small baby (to measure its weight at home). Price is a gooood. Only three buttons - very easy to use. When we received it, we checked it by measuring weight of 1.210kg packet of sugar from supermarket and got 1.22kg. It has a convinient "tare" option to measure "netto" weight (eg weight of baby without cradle). The "unit" button switch between lb, JIN (china weight unit), oz, kg units, but we use only "kg" so it useless (for us). It is not buttery hangry - we installed almost dead aaa batteries (after photo camera) and it works. It is small!

Cons: I did not find cons - this is a good product for good price.

Other: "Must have" thing for parents with small baby.

Pros: This weighing hook is ideally suited as a set of luggage scales. It is of good quality, lightweight, compact and easy to use. When traveling nowadays excess luggage can cost you an arm and a leg! Many airlines restrict stowaway luggage to 20kg. and any excess is charged considerably. So for a small outlay you can use these scales to simply weigh your luggage before departing to the airport.

Cons: No cons I can think of.

Other: The product looks and feels of sturdy quality and runs on standard AAA batteries, available anywhere.

Pros: Compact, easy to use, precise enough, the big screen. Uses common batteries LR6 (R6, AAA), batteries not included. Instead of batteries, rechargeable batteries, you can use AAA. Possibility of storing the tare. Convenient hook, large measurement range.

Cons: It would be nice to include in the kit bag to carry in your pocket. Other disadvantages not.

Other: Very pleased with this unit. Certainly a very good thing in any home.

Pros: A very small and easy to use scale, and its almost dummysafe, becouse it has only three buttons

Cons: I bought two of these, and on both, i had to adjust the spring for one of the batteries, other wise it hasnt been connected to the metal

Other: I have said that two identical, on one I use in the stable where I weigh hay, and then I also compared it with a more "Traditional" scale, and it shows incredible still, which is great.
The other I have at home, where I weigh things that might be too big too big to put on the kitchen scale, but when I put it in a bag and hang the bag on the hook.
However, it has hung for me at some point, but then it has only been picking out a battery and thus run a "reboot", then it works cleanly again

Pros: - product works as expected (accurate when tested against house scales, for luggage) - small, compact design. - good strong plastic body, and good strap, solid metal hook. - hand strap good design for larger bags, can also be hung off items if user is weak (better than plastic handles etc) - clear numbers. - easy on/off/weigh/reset functions - replaceable batteries means you never get to the airport and have a flat battery, you just replace them. very good. - GREAT gift for people travelling - very useful to own.

Cons: - no cons.

Other: - great purchase, great value, excellent when travelling or as a gift.

Pros: * Cheap but good built quality * Quite easy to use and all button are mark clearly. * Did I mention it was cheap and well built? :)

Cons: *The hook might be a bit small for bigger bag, but a loop of strong rope will take care of that. *The weight lock time might be a bit too long for some people.

Other: Buy it if you travel a lot using budget airline with ridiculous overweight baggage charge.

Pros: good quality, the scale is solid and seems well made. very easy to operate. seems to be precise enough - I tested it with a relatively light item and it reads within 4 grams from a 1 gr precision kitchen scale - well within the 10 gr precision that is advertised

Cons: could come with something to attach larger items - the hook is not practical for all subjects (but this is easy to fix with some string..) takes 2xAAA batteries. I hope they will last forever in this.

Other: go for it, this is a great deal

Pros: When I travel I take it always with me. It is just so absolutely useful! I will never be surprised by overweight at the airport again. It is that small that it is really not a problem to carry it with you wherever you go. It works accurate and the quality is good. There is even a space for the hook while it is not in use

Cons: The band to hold it on is too thin. If you lift heavy things it hard to handle and painful at your hand.

Other: For people that travel a lot by air plane its a great helpful thing. You should buy it

Pros: This digital hook scale is great. I bought for weighting my luggage before travelling. Since most airlines charge you for every additional pound, it is quite a good idea having one of these. It is very simple to use. Keep in mind that two AAA batteries are required, and not included. Once again, DX sent it in a very good package.

Cons: The hook is a little bit small. When you try to weight your bag, it does not perfectly fit the bag handle. It feels the hook might slip anytime. Actually, it does not. It is a little bit hard to close the batteries compartment when they are in place. It seems that there is a small interference, but I considered it as normal operation, no issues so far.

Other: I would recommend buying one of them, if you need to know how heavy is your luggage.
