1.5" LCD Rechargeable Digital USB Photo Frame Keychain - White (107-Picture Memory Storage)

Pros: Pretty good and cheap little LCD screen. We were looking for a little mobile style LCD screen and found out that some distributors ask up to factor 15 more for just a bare 128x128 LCD screen sample.
So since most of LCDs are fairly well documented, we took the chance of (ab)using those simple DPFs as display.
What you actually get of this DPF:
- Nice little TFT display with bright colours and decent background light
- 8 mbit (=1 MB) SPI flash chip which holds firmware, client software and your images
- Lithium battery
- AX206 8051 clone with USB controller

Cons: I have ordered several of them and found differences. Some are using Ilitek controllers on the LCD, some have Sitronix chipsets.
Also, the quality was not uniform, some had a bad background lighting, some unit did not charge (LiIon battery broken)
You'll probably have to live with the fact that some units were not tested before shipping, but hey, DX is known for decent warranty service, so if you have time, this is not much of an issue.
Also, the description of these units are in general deceiving, as most users assume that MB = MegaByte. Even then, the description of 16 Mbit would not be correct, it is a 8Mbit chip.

Other: Recommended. Despite the quality and specification fluctuations, these DPFs have a way better display than the CSTN variants found at various bidding sites.
Buy a few of them, if you want to tinker.

Pros: vibrant colors, easy controlling, cheap and useful. good packaging.After walking for more than a small mini digital photo frame.

Cons: poor quality the plastic house and nothing more
