Pros: Cheap.
Lot of professional photo features.
Nice finish.
Light weight (1.8kg).
Was able to take some abuse.
Quick release plate compatible with Manfrotto.

Cons: Leg angle adjustment in on leg broke after abuse.
Raising centre column gave some flex.
Not as slick nor sturdy as original Manfrotto, it is only a visual copy.
Spirit level not level at all.
1.5 meter is a bit too low for me.

Other: I trust my original Manfrotto, but will probably always be a bit insecure with this.
Great value for money, but buy the original if you need it and can afford it.

Pros: Very good tripod, solid build and very light. Fast camera lock/unlock system compatible with manfrotto. It has a carry on bag of good quality cordura/like

Cons: Just less solid then manfrotto, but it does it's job very well and for a tenth of the price. The zip of the bag was not tailored correctly then it close only from bottom to top and not vice-versa as its supposed to be.

Other: I recommend to buy for a beginner who cares of being serious or a professional who wants a light tripod

Pros: First of all, I have to admire DX´s service and shipping. It took only 6 days from HK post office to my home in Slovakia!

Other: I had already returned my MANFROTTO 785B MODO, which was lower in height and not so sturdy.

Pros: Received the tripod within 3 weeks becouse the item wasn't in stock. Shipping took about one week (to The Netherlands). I ordered this tripod for use with my Canon EOS 450d. I realy did not expect the tripod to be this well built! - Very good build quality. - No cheap plastic. - Looks almost the same as the much more expensive Manfroto tripod's. - The bag is also very robust. - Light weight - Very stable - Well finnished

Cons: Ballhead is not suitable for camcorder. The locking/unlocking mechanism was adjusted way too tight.

Other: Great, professional and cheap tripod. Must have for beginner and maybe even a for a professional.

I like the compatibility with Manfrotto ball head.

Cons: I was surprised. Tripod is very well made. The first thing that attracted me was the stiffness of a tripod.

Cons: - i purchased two of these and one of the bags could not be opened. the zipper was stuck and would not move (to the point where i broke the zipper handle off). the bag had to be cut open.
- no handle for video cameras
> the head that comes with this tripod is seemingly built strictly for photography. can still be used for video, though, rather than holding a handle you hold your camera body instead.

Other: - need an extremely sturdy and durable tripod for the price of a "cheap" name-brand? this is it.

Pros: A really nice little tripod, good for one that you want to carry around all day, and still have something sturdy enough that she won't shake whenever you touch it. I lke that this isn't made out of cheap aluminium, and she's pretty solid. handles my canon 40D with a 300mm zoom lens no prob.

Cons: build quality oveall is good, but mine has a problem where the angle lock on one of the legs is broken, but the tripod is still very usable.
The Head is annoying. a pain if you are trying to capture anything moving.

Other: Overall, a really good buy, that i've never regretted. sure, one day, i'll buy a real manfrotto, but until then, this baby is fufilling most of my needs.

Pros: Its a great little tripod for Photography, or video if you don't need to make camera moves.It will support you video camera or DSLR. The clip-in device works great.It also has a lock. The build quality is great for a small tripod. It is stable. It is just light enough, without looking cheap. The bag that comes with it is very nice and useful to carry it.There's a inner pocket to put the little plate and the adjustment tools.

Cons: Smoke damaged, cannot be used inside because of the strong smell

Other: So when you order this product, please make sure with Dealextreme that they _REALLY CHECK_ your tripod isn't smoke damaged. The smell is very strong and there's no real way to get rid of it.

Pros: For the price you are paying, this come close, if not as good as any original expensive tripod. the ballhead is smooth and the baseplate locks well on the ballhead. There is no movement creep even when i mount my dSLR with batt grip and a 10-24lense. Comes with a bag and locking tools - this is a bonus!

Cons: Smelly. Smelt of burn smell or maybe it is the grease smell. Been using this for the past few months and the smell is still there.

Other: For the price, it is hard to beat. WOuld be great if it had a hook at the bottom middle shaft so you could hang some heavy object to further stabilise the tripod in windy condition.
