What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Inexpensive and accurate, looks and functions like a typical scale. Good combination of max weight and accuracy. So far so good!
Tested it with a 250g block of butter/wrapper, came up with 252g. Trusting it for sending mail.
Convenient Tare Weight function when setting the weight of a container to zero.
Cons: Could've come with a bowl I suppose, otherwise no cons to think of.
Other: Great deal for a scale and it does what it's supposed to without looking gaudy.

Pros: - The price is great. The best price I could get locally for a similar product with a lower weight capacity was about 3.5x the price of this one.
- Very accurate based on weighing several items of known weight.
- The scale is very easy to use.
- LCD display is a decent size.
- Batteries are included.
Cons: - The buttons feel a little cheap and I'm not sure how well they'll hold up over a longer period.
Other: - Great value for money for a scale of this capacity.

Pros: Very accurate which is it's main purpose. Easy to use. Nice to be able to change units for I have both english and spanish cookbooks that contain recipes in both metric and imperial unit meassurements.
Cons: The build looks a bit cheap but not nasty. The scale's surface is a bit small so sometimes it's difficult to see the weight.
Other: For me it's been a good buy :)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: +Seems accurate enough for what I am gonna use it for.
+Convinient size (Smaller then I expected it to be)
+Easy to figure out, and english manual if you want to calibrate it for exemple.
+Possible to change/convert units, gram , ounces and pounds
+ Okey build quality, only part that look cheap was the box it came in low quality paper
Cons: -Not the most stylish thing, not exactly something you wanna have standing on the kitchen counter
- No bowl or plate included, but I dont really forsee that being a real problem.
Other: Main use for me is to speed up counting coins in a cash register, will work well for that application and would work well in the kitchen too.

Pros: This works pretty well. It weights things correctly and is easy to use. Also, it's very small, so it fits anywhere. You can choose between different measurement systems.
Cons: Maybe the base could be a bit bigger... but nothing that we can't live without. The button seems to be a bit poor quality, but works fine!
Other: - If you need a scale, go for it. I don't think there's anything out there for a cheaper price. - It uses a couple AAA batteries, and so far mine is running pretty fine with them - The great thing about this scale is that it goes 0.1 by 0.1 and makes things very precise! Great to make sure you're putting correct measures on your receipes
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: small footprint, light weight, wide weighing range, good precision
Cons: plastic construction - be careful with solvents. I also advise you not to weigh hot things (e.g., a hot cooking pot), as they could damage the plastic plate.
Other: a useful tool for general use at home.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Accurate enough. The smallest quantity I was able to measure with it was 3 grams, but as this scale is not intended for pharmaceutical use this accuracy is satisfactory. So this means it can measure with +/- 3 gram accuracy. It uses AAA batteries that can be easily aquired.
Cons: The LCD panel is very dim. I don't know if it is a problem with this particular pice or with the model in general but it is hard to see the numbers.
Other: Other than the dimness of the LCD the build quality is good. It was worth the price.

Pros: Compared to similar products this 1.7" LCD Digital Kitchen Scale (7kg Max/1g Resolution) has a very affordable price. It's relatively small and lightweight. It also presents a good accuracy.
Cons: The plastic frame seems to make the product a little fragile. Not suitable for intensive use.
Other: So far it proved to be a very useful product and I do not regret the purchase.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy, lightweight. Very quick start-up. Accurate and sensitive enough for home use. Tare option allows to cancel the weight of your bowl or measuring cup to get the most accurate reading. It is easy to clean, since all buttons are covered.
Cons: None so far. I haven't had it enough time to know if the battery runs out too quickly, although I don't think so, since it auto powers off.
Other: Clean, easy and quick to use.
