1.9" Mini Digital LCD Humidity/Hygrometer and Thermometer (1*LR44)

Pros: I bought this Hygrometer to complement my cigar / pipe tobacco humidor project, just to test how accurate it was and so on... I did the hygrometer salt test with this, and it shows that my unit shows +3% RH, but seems to do it consistently. Hitting the 70% RH recommended for humidors means just that i need to keep the humidity at 73% according the hygrometer. Not bad. The form factor is quite usable (57mm x 32mm x 11,4mm) and the lack of backlight is a pro in my book, as there's a little less energy consumption. The LR44 battery is also readily available in Europe, a big plus there too.

Cons: The slight offset in metering accuracy might mean that if one orders multiple units, there will be a need to salt test them each. Not a real con, though, as I personally would do that anyway.

Other: It's cheap, it works and it's kind of pretty / non-intrusive. It's easily attached to a glass surfaces with some adhesive or even blu-tack(!). Nothing wrong, I think.

Pros: works well, pretty accurate. i bought 2 of these as well as item 10394, and all 3 have the same humidity and temperature readings, withing 1.

Cons: HOWEVER, i must point out that this item does not display Fahrenheit - it's Celsius only. if that's a deal breaker then move on.

Other: other than the farenheit thing, it's 5 stars all the way. price is good. works well as can be expected.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Bought two, and they seem to e fairly accurate. Unit is compact, but very legible.

Cons: Build is good, but verging a little on the cheap plasticky side when examined closely.... to be expected I guess and looks perfectly fine from a normal distance.

Other: Good value for money. Does what I expected it would do, and for a very good price. Recommended.

Pros: Cheap, delivered fast and built quality is great.Simple rectangular device. Digits are comfortably sized.

Cons: Well this is works fine but I noticed one catch. the thermometer only shows the whole numbers. No decimal numbers. So I don't know it the temp is 25.1 or 25.9. Thats the only catch in my opinion.

another con is that if you live in a hot country where the temp goes above 35 degrees Celsius, then forget this model. It measure from 0~35 degrees only.
So in hot countries where the car temps go above 50 degrees, this thermometer is not suitable

Other: Great deal and works fine as described

Pros: Good product. The humidity sensor it's fine for me. I test it with other 20 thermometers and the temp is real.

Cons: Poor quality building. But work fine. No other cons.

Other: Good deal... I will buy more in a future.
Es una buena compra... Compraré mas en un futuro.

Pros: - Cheap;
- Good sized numbers, very easy to read;
- Very small;
- The readings seem accurate - not THAT accurate, but it is adequate for such product.

Cons: - Hmm... can't think of any, maybe it could come with a dimly lit screen so we can read it in a darker place. But that's nitpicking on a cheap product.

Other: I recommend it to DX customers.

Pros: I use this in my wine cooler to measure the temperature and humidity as I want my cigars and wines to be correctly stored. I don't know if the readings are correct but I get a fairly good indication of what is going in the cooler thanks to this and it allows me to adjusts settings as needed. It is small, has a rather large screen, which is easy and clear to read. It seems to have a strong sensitivity to changes in the climate - as I open the cooler door, both humidity and temp readings rise. All in all, It gives me the information I need, even if I'm not sure of the accuracy.

Cons: None rally.

Other: Basic, small, cheap, does in general its purpose.

Pros: Thermometer is accurate enough, within range of exact to +0.5 Celcius degrees. Checked with 4 other digital and analog thermometers.

Cons: The hygrometer is far from accurate, displaying 20 something when the RH is actually 70+%, displaying 40 something when it is actually 30%. It bears no connection with reality. It cannot be absolute humidity instead of relative humidity either.

Other: It is worthless at this price. Opt for a 2-3 dollar cheap thermometer only or get some real quality hygrometer if you want to know humidity.

Pros: Good price. "Clean" appearance, no funny Chinese writing on the front. Accuracy appears to be good. Have compared to several other electronic hygrometers, and the readings seems to be within the same interval.

Cons: Should be able to measure temperatures below minus 10 deg. C.

Other: I have several units, and they are all consistent in their readings. Small, but still easy to read at a distance.

Pros: I absolutely love this mini thermometer/hygrometer. Its very inexpensive as compared to the bigger ones with similar fuctions, which are selling at the electrical shops. It is extremely compact in size which makes it good for putting one in cupboards with a demuhidier rod. I have a calibrated one, which I compared to this, and the readings are fairly accurate with slight deviations of 1-2 units for humidity and none for temperature. So it really depends on your luck if you get a faulty unit.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other: A very good buy. I have just ordered a few more.
