1-to-3 Cigarette Lighter Power Spliter with USB Output (Black)

Cons: (x) very weak cables (x) risk of cable-burning (x) what does look like brushed-aluminium is only a plastic-foil, but that was expectable

Other: I didnt just fit this into my cigarette-socket but installed it in the car with a switch. In the cigarette-socket it worked very well, but when I connected it with a switch to my battery, the small cables began to burn. So I had to open it and solder new, thicker cables to it. Now it does work perfect and looks very good also...

Pros: - Really good product to help you when you´re traveling with kids. - You can connect your GPS, your Dingoo (very good PMP) and any other equipment, like a portable DVD player, for example. - It is really robust

Cons: - The light is a bit bright, specially when you are traveling at night, but it is not a really, really problem - Could have fixation plugs to help you fixing it somewhere in the car, preventing possible accidents inside the car.

Other: If you like to travel with your kids, Buy It ! It will help you a lot !

Pros: The first thing that i bought from DX. Really usefull, good quality, low price, HAVE A USB CONNECTION that can be used with SKU 30768. Good wires, good plastics, don't find any "unsafe" things using this. Black color combines better with chargers.

Cons: At this moment, don't find nothing. Works great. No problems.

Other: If you need to use GPS, Cell Phone charger, laptop charger, etc... buy this. And you also can charge generic things using USB charger with this.

Pros: It works very well and is robust and sturdy.

Cons: For me, the wire is very small and the fixation with double-sided tape is almost impossible.
It was very ugly in my car so I'm not using anymore.

Other: I chose to install an extra outlet at the dealership.
Eu preferi instalar uma tomada extra na concessionária.

Pros: The hub is made of quality materials. The connections are strong and reliable (I have already opened it). The nests are tide enough to insure good connection.

Cons: I still do not find any cons - the product is good.

Other: If you need reliable power source in your car - this is the item.

Pros: Once repaired it works fine. Fits into the empty "shelf" of a double DIN opening with a single DIN receiver.

Cons: Operation was intermittent so I opened it up and found that the solder joint for the ground wire was broken and it was intermittently making contact with the outside (ground) of the cigarette lighter sockets. Soldered it back on with a high wattage soldering iron. They should use a crimp lug with a nut and bolt for better reliability.

Other: Not a bad deal, but workmanship leaves something to be desired.

Pros: Once you take it apart and rebuild it it works okay.

Cons: Build quality is poor. There is no strain relief on the wire that plugs into the cigarette lighter. After a week of use the wire insulation at the hole where the wire comes through wore off, the + and - shorted together, and the fuse blew. I took it apart, added some heat shrink tubing over the wires where they come through the hole, and reassembled it. I got a replacement fuse, which was not easy, as it's not a common size fuse in the U.S. (GMA (5mm x 20mm) 5A). The USB port does not provide enough current to charge an iPod Touch or a Droid. Use SKU 34040, 34466, 688, or other adapter that provides 1000mA or more. For an iPad look at adapters that provide at least 2A. Fuse is rated at 5A, but wires look too thin to carry 5A.

Other: USB port is rather worthless due to low current rating. Probably better off buying a four socket unit without USB then adding higher current USB adapters.

- You can recharge different kinds of USB products in your car
- Little red light indicates when on

Cons: - Cable is thin so it can be problem with massive load
- Sometimes you feel little pinch when you touch it so there is some kind of electric leak
- Build quality feels little bit poor
- Feels like it can easily break up

Other: Overall it's cheap and it do what it should do. It has nice outfit but build quality could be little bit better...

- easy to use
- able to use every port at the same time
- light weight and compact
- very useful product

Cons: - built quality feels a little cheap
- some things don't work on the usb port

Other: This product is a very useful, cheap and i haven't had any problems with it yet.

Pros: 3 sockets + 1 USB (500mA)
- Long power cable
- Good quality plastic
- Light when it's on (Red diod)

Cons: - USB is 500mA so not at all devices can charged by it. So if you want to use USB port with your device, you need to know what you need power.
- For some frequencies you can hear some interference on FM.
- Short plug for russians cars (need some upgrade)
I don't know another cons.

Other: Very useful device and good price. I recommend it.
