10-in-1 Outdoors Survival Mini Kit (Whistle + Compass + Magnifier + LED Flashlight + more)

Pros: i bought this because personally i like outdoor activities. sometimes you may need such outdoor things. if you need a flint or a lens or a led light this item has all. also it can show temperature and humidity. it has a nice compass.

Cons: color is olive drab. i wish that this could be yellow or orange. hinge seems so low strenght so it may broke if you are harsh on it. flint is working but too short.

Other: i can reccomend you to buy some for you and for others. this can save you one day.

Pros: 1. Bright light, small led maybe 3mm or something. about 8,000 mcd. 2. Great compass, liquid filled with no bubbles and really smooth movement. no catching/hanging up. 3. Loud whistle. Really really loud. I had my doubts about everything when ordering but the whistle is insane. 4. Great thermo and hygro. Thermo within 3 degrees of digital and my other old murcury. and the hygro is always within 3% of my high end unit. 5. Great firesteel, really sparks alot. BUT, it's TINY 1" by 1/8". but works really good. 6. magnifying lense starts a fire. I tried and it did it.

Cons: 1. the level is kind of silly because it has a raised model number on the other side so it wouldn't sit flat anyway. 2. Firesteel is not going to last long. Make sure you start striking from the tip and work your way in because it will probably break if it gets any thinner. That's it.

Other: It's really a solid piece of survival gear. maybe not the most amazing thing ever but I'm really into it. BUY IT. especially if your looking at all these all in one survival whistle/tools

Cons: - The hygrometer doesn't seem to work very well. Could me a production fault though. - The spirit level meter wasn't aligned right. Can be fixed with some hot melt glue if you really need it. - The firesteel is very small, and it takes some practice. - The flashlight-switch feels a bit fragile

Other: It's good quality for the price. But it's cheap, so don't expect an army quality tool.

Pros: - Small, easy to carry around;
- Small, but powerfull (for the size) and usefull light, and lights the compass in the dark;
- Good set of functions;
- Cool compass.

Pros: It's a little one equipment and have all that it say have. I test all the funtions and are good, the compass work perfect. It' a good companion tool for camping and outdoors.

Cons: the whistle, it work but you need to flow strong air to make a sound.

Other: I like so much, it's compact, easy to carry with you and for the price and what you obtain for that ist great. I use in the middle of the forest at night and its so usefull the light because you see the horizontal compass and you know where you go.

Pros: This thing fulfills multiple needs while taking up VERY little space and weighing practically nothing. Everything seems to work so far, and I don't have any complaints. I checked the compass against a GPS and it is accurate. The fire steel gives off sparkes, the wistle is loud, and the LED light is bright.

Cons: The thermo isn't great, but that is probably the least of your worries in a survival situation.

Other: Love it, ordering more now.

Pros: It's cheap. It weighs next to nothing. It's cheap. It takes up very little space. It's cheap. IT WORKS!
The compas is supprisingly accurate. The light is bright. The whistle is loud. The fire starter provides a large spark for such a small rod.

Cons: Celcius only for the thermometer.

Other: Two is one and one is none. This gives you an extra layer of redundancy for several pieces of gear. It's not going to turn your survival story into a vacation, but it can help keep it a survival story. Every part of it works. I have better compases, fire starters, flashlights, and signaling devices. They are all my primary. This thing is a great way to back all of them up at the same time. Buy it!

Pros: - Es ligero y compacto. - Buena brújula, buen medidor de temperatura y humedad. - Perfecto para la supervivencia tanto en tierra como en mar. - Aunque es pequeña la luz, da bastante visibilidad. - El kit 10-in-1 viene bien protegido en el paquete de envío para evitar daños. - Excelente silbato o pito. - Mide muy bien la estabilidad del suelo.

Cons: - La lupa es bastante pequeña, pero para ver cosas pequeñas viene muy bien. - La barra de magnesio es pequeña y no dura mucho, es mejor comprar otra más grande en dealextreme. - Me ha venido un tornillo defectuoso en donde está la batería de la luz y me cuesta sacar la carcasa para ver la batería.

Other: -Buen aparato de supervivencia. RECOMENDADO 100%.

Pros: Interesting toll. Good to take out as a backup and tie it forexample to your watterbottle. I like how it is organized, bright light can iluminate the map and compas at once, so you can easy read map with magnifier and you still have one hand free.

Cons: The mirror could be removable (or Im just affraid to remove it :))

Other: Nice compakt thing. I bought 2 pcs to compare values and both of them show roughly the same. I keep one and the other one ends as a gift. This thing is definitly great gift for outdoorfuns.

Pros: Reasonable quality, Lighting light not only outside, but also inside, which is useful in dark, the inside mirror is very useful for looking at yourself and pointing sun or other light to wanted direction, A lot of instruments in one peace.

Cons: The magnets in compass is fixed poorly, mine is slightly of balance, so if you don't take it into account the measurements can be false and it is sealed so no opportunity to fix it, it is really hard to take out the whistle, the flint is hard to light, the spirit level seams to be slightly of plane, but it can be fixed.

Other: Price and built quality is what you can expect from this kind of product. Very useful in the forest, hiking or other.
