Pros: Good quality and bright,i used them to replace the white leds in the dx keychains and they work great.

Cons: None

Other: A good buy

Pros: Good brightness. Cheap. Quality seems good, all of my 30 LEDs worked.

Pros: These are nice red leds for your DIY projects. They are not so very bright but should be okay for many DIY projects. The build quality is just like with any other leds, so you can't really go wrong buying these.

Cons: There are really no cons - just remember to use a suitable resisitor with these. Use www.ledcalc.com to calculate a suitable resistor Ohm value.

Other: Nice red leds. Not super ultrabright but definitely brigter than regular red marking/information leds.

Pros: Cheap.
DX is a convenient place to get these.

Cons: Dimmer than its blue and white counterparts.

Other: Dim for lighting purposes but where else are you going to get these?

Cons: May not be bright enough for some desired uses
Directional IE much brighter head on than from the side (not a con really, just inherent in this type of emitter)

Other: If ya need red leds, get these instead of the one from a certain stateside 'Shack"

- great for using with controller mods
- has long and short leg to tell which is positive and negative

Cons: - Dont shine real bright
- these may be too big for certain uses

Other: If you need some red leds for cheap BUY IT NOW you won t find these any cheaper. What are you waiting for? Get these

Pros: --- Low consumption
--- Small, much easier to use in electronics than an power led
--- its pure red, and every single one emmits the same color, unlike in bullbs wich tend to very from one to another.
--- Long life time, if it is not overheated, it can be used for a very long time.

Cons: --- Bright but you can't even compare to a 1 watt led.
--- Hard to use, either you have to drill 5mm holes and glue them or solder into a printed circuit board, sometimes it's very hard to do simple thing with them because of the risc of shorting the circuit.
--- can't withstand heat, it kills leds and they all die quickily and together.

Other: --- Very good price, I would buy more if I needed

Pros: These little guys are great. I ordered a bunch for some projects I was undertaking. They have proved to function very well, and I have not had a dead one yet. They are definitely useful if you are looking for some decent red LEDS.

Cons: I don't really have any cons associated with them - although the leads were a bit more flimsy than I am used to.

Other: If you're looking for some red LEDs for a project, you might as well order these. The price is definitely right. You may not be super-impressed with these LEDs but I think they will do the trick for most of you thinking about ordering them.

Pros: -->Bright enough -->good brightness/power ratio -->Really inexpensive but I can buy them at similar price in my electronics shop.

Cons: -->No specs, datasheet etc...

Other: --> This is just textbook example of diode - red one :-)
