Other: Didn't realize how dim 1000-1500mcd is. But hey, the price aint bad, soif you got a use I guess go for it... Don't know what the h--- I'm going to use them for...

Pros: These LED's are being sold at a price that can't be beat. They've also got a nice color, more amber than pure yellow. All of them worked right out of the package unlike the reds and blues dealextreme sells.

Cons: Like the other reviewer says, they are very dim! Compared to the other colored LED's available here, they have quite a low output. It makes it so I don't like using the yellows as much in arrays with the other colors, because they look so much less bright.

Other: Just like everything else here, the price just cannot be beat!

Seems to withstand a fairly wide range of voltages without dying

Cons: Not very bright
A little more orangey than a pure yellow
larger packs could be a better value

Other: Not a horrible product, but disappointing output

Pros: These LEDs are a nice amber colour, great for giving off yellow light in a small, single bulb

Cons: the light is rather dim, compared to other LEDs.
its not dull to the point where you can barely see it, but its not bright enough for use in a flashlight or spotlight.

Other: if you aren't going for anything too bright, you just need a yellow LED, this one will do the job nicely.

Pros: -Cheap, very cheap. For this price, I can barely get ONE single LED in the local store -Indication for positive/negative (long/short leg) -No heat what so ever

Cons: -Not too bright.. -No cut-off at the circular bottom of the "bulb" for shoving positive/negative -Some of the legs were a bit bent, but easily fixed just with my fingers -Not yellow, but more orange!

Other: Cheap orange LEDs. Not too bright, but they're still orange. Still fits OK in my modding of SKU15985 (made them yellow/white for use at work while parking my car in the middel of the road for service at a phone line etc) Not a great deal (brightness) but it's fair enough. You need orange LEDs, not too bright and "spotty", go get these! Need brighter LEDs, don't get these. As simple as that!

Pros: --> They are quite cheap. But they are not expensive here ion shop either. Local price is around 1-1,5 USD for 10pack. And you have guaranteed specifications. I bought just to have some LED from each color at home when I need some. -->Bright enough at 15mA.

Cons: --> Some were yellow, some orange. See my photo (but it is tricky, because the camera sees it as very similar colors. In real they were significantly different from each other.

Other: Buy them, if you want to have some LEDs "in stock" at house "just in case". If you need LEDs for projects with higher importance, buy them locally to get the same color every time you buy them.

Pros: for being so small they're rather decent bright! not flashlight material but good for everything else:D yellow/orangeish colour to my eye good directional light too, quite focused towards the tip and shines up the area pointed at well!

Cons: not really any cons, just funny i melted one with a 9v battery :P i bent the metal piece maybe 5 times and it came off but thats to be expected of any thin metals like that.

Other: i will get more of these! also ~2V input FYI

Pros: - They are extremely handy to have around
- The quality is good, and all of the ten worked very well
- They are very bright
- The LEDs are clear, in other words the color is generated inside the actual diode

Cons: None yet. The LEDs seem excellent, although only time will tell this.

Other: These LEDs are very handy and efficient. They don't even cost that much, so if you need a bunch of clear LEDs, then this is your product.

Pros: Basic and reliable superbright 5mm led with small angle and clear non-diffused package. These are good for many applications.
I drived one with 9V battery and 150R + 220R series resistors, which yields aprox. 18mA forward current and the led didn't get warm. So I think these can be safely runned at 20mA for looooong time without fear of excess lifetime shortening of led.

Cons: Can't find any cons, these are just good basic leds.

Other: Title says these are yellow leds, but I think these are more like amber. Definetly not yellow.
But anyway, I recommend these leds if you need bright orange/amber colored leds.

Pros: - Ten simple yellow LEDs anode-catode.
- They are cheap and good enough for simple projects and prototypes.

Cons: - Some seemed to be orange, and some seemed to be yellow. Not a big deal.

Other: - Good enough simple LEDs for your projects.
