What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: - It looks well built. - It works under linux (tested with backtrack 3). - It works very well! I bought this an a directional antenna (sku 37185), they work great together (BTW, it's the same manufacturer). I can connect to my friend's router in another building (about 500m far, clear area) and I get a strong signal (48dB). With my built-in WIFI card (an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN) I get only 83dB of signal!
Cons: - It's a little expensive, but I think it worth the price.
Other: I'm not a wireless specialist but I can say that buying a high power WIFI card may not solve your problem, you may consider using a directional antenna too.

Pros: - Pulls in really far access points - Solid build, I dropped it several times and it still works fine - Works perfectly with most of the Backtrack-3 utilities - Does a great job with SpoonWep2 - Supports packet injection - Also displays AP power
Cons: None that I can think of. Maybe a longer USB cord would have been nice but I am splitting hairs here.
Other: - Ships with drivers that work with Win7. - Mini CD also includes a version of Backtrack-3 - Can be used as an intrusion tool, but also works very well as a USB wireless card. - Does exactly what it was designed for, a good purchase. I ordered a second one.

Pros: Does what´s supposed to. My wireless problem was solved.
Cons: Lightweight! I bought another antenna and it´s too heavy for this one. Although, the original antenna works just fine.
Other: Would buy it again. Recommended. i know its hard to buy one of these because there is too many information and you don´t know what´s true. at least, this one is real. It is indeed Realtek RL8187L.
