1000mW High Power 802.11b/g/n USB Wireless Network Dongle with 7dBi Antenna

Pros: Very easy to install, good build quality, no problems and stable on my old XP machine which runs 24/7.
Before this unit, I used a standard USB dongle without external antenna, could only pick up my own network. Now I have 7 available (and I live in a suburb, in center of town you could probably pick up 50 networks)

Cons: No cons I can think of right now, don't have any problems with the device

Other: If you need a bit more Wifi range, get this :)

Pros: Good 'gift-quality' and 'all-you-need' package, perfect 'brand-like' exterior, useful detachable backside clip (not mentioned in the description). Easy to setup, stable in operation (at least on WinXP). Very good transmission power and receive level: found 6 networks instead of 3 on my netbook. Signal quality is far better too.

Cons: Shiny surface is very fingerprint-attractive.

Other: Now it serves in SoftAP mode on my homebrewed 24/7 server. Hope it will be reliable for years. Thumb Up!

Pros: Very small adapter Excellent transmission and receive level Small clip for more stability I was using an 'old' DLink 802.11g PCI Card (WDA-2320). Since I use this new one, I detect 2 new network in my neighbourhood, and my own network increased from 70% to 100% (-17dbi)

Cons: a little bit big, the black surface is sensative for fingers, but it is not to hold in your hands!
this is about the exterior, the least important. so just for your information...

Other: if you need a good and cheap dongle, buy this one... living in a house with really thick walls and the signal is really good around the house!

Pros: Work Excellent. Smooth Win 7 Installation. As soon as I connected it I recived excellent reception. I discover more then 20 networks around my area. Before with my old USB, I got week signal and slow speed.

Cons: Price is a bit expensive, but you get value for money Phisicly notstanding stable on the desk

Pros: I needed an antenna to improve wifi signal: the router was over 10 meters away, and with a few obstacles (wall, doors...) in between. This antenna did the trick, not only did I get much better signal from my router, but I even started to see many more wifi networks in my area. It works fine!

Cons: No cons at this stage.

Other: If your wifi connection is not great, this may help you.

Pros: - WIFI improvement! - Compared to the ols linksys adaptor this is improving the signal with 30% so nothing to complain about... - straight forword, plug it in, install the driver and we are online!

Cons: - everthing in chinese, but hey, when it is sooo easy to install nothing to say avout that. :-) - There was a clip on the back and it was not quite obvious that you can take it off... so you can.

Other: Nice value for money! and now I have a network on my shelf!

Pros: - Simple to install on Windows 7, just plug it in the USB, install the drivers and it will work. - Vastly more powerful than the internal wifi antenna in the laptop. While it picks up 3/5 signal from the living room to the router in the bedroom, with the antenna it picks up 5/5. - The antenna is detachable, so you can install a bigger one if needed, or even a longer USB cable if you want to install the receiver in a further place from the computer to pick the best signal.

Cons: - The driver CD isn't well recorded, the laptop had problem reading it.

Other: If you are in a place with walls that block wifi, or that you have to be far from the antenna, this receiver does a great job of boosting the signal reception. Recommended product!
