100W 220V Car 12V DC Power Inverter with USB Power Port

Pros: - Great build quality.

Cons: - Modified sinewave, some electronics might not work with it.

Other: Buy it if you need, or think that you could need it.

Pros: Nice! It works and it is very small... It has also a USB port to charge devices like mobiles or GPS navigators. And it is really cheap!

Cons: The only problem I have found is that build quality is ok, but it is not the best build qualiity I have seen... for instance, some type of plugs does not fit well in plug, so they sometimes get disconnected.

Other: I think it is a very good gadget because it is really small and has sufficient power. So you can carry it everywhere in your car, and forgot it until you need some plug :) I am very forgetful, andd it has saved me several times!!!

Pros: This device is really small and weights very little. Perfect to install in a car. Very neat!
I'm not sure if it really delivers 100W, but I had no trouble running an 60W 220V light bulb or my laptop.
The device has no fan, and is completely silent.
The USB socket it great, so is the little green light telling you it's operating.
The build looks and feel extremely well done.

Cons: The device has no lips on the side enabling permanent mounting. I opened the device in the front and back, and drilled two holes in the top ends of the device in order to install it permanently in my car using two 2mm screws.
The connection cable could have been longer, but for me I cut it anyway and connected it permanent to the 12V system of the car.

Other: Great product to install in a car, but it's a bit difficult to fasten with screw unless you are a very skilled person.
It had no problem running and charging my laptop.

Pros: bought two for my and dads car . . .both works well as mentioned. I love its small size and green light indicator that says everything is fine. I use it a lot with my camera battery charger, mobile phones, laptops and ipod. ipod specifically works well unlike some of the other chargrs here on dealextreme

Cons: It gets a bit hot on using the laptop...thats a cause of worry. Otherwise, works fine. Maybe my dell laptop requires more power than outputted by this device.

Other: keeps your devices powered on the move. wish cars built in this feature into stock cars :)

Pros: item packs away very neatly and doesn't take up much space. very small, light and compact.
very useful in times of emergency (eg. mobile phone battery running low, GPS needs a charge up).
provides adequate power to use most devices. i used my netbook and had no problems with it. laptops shouldn't pose a problem unless it exceeds the 100W limit.

Cons: in hot countries or summer, it is worrying that the device might fail as it is fanless design. especially after leaving it under the hot scorching sun for a while.
another thing is, it can't use the 3-pin plug together with my USB cable to charge simultaneously. i think the design is a little too compact and would be good to allow more room.

Other: great value item! highly recommended for car users. buy one even though you may not need it. you never know when you need some emergency power point.

Pros: Great item for it's price. It's cheaper then similiar devices I can buy here in Russia.
I used it on my boat for charging my PDA & mobile phone via USB and for photo battery charging via 220V socket. It works fine.
I think that for this power rate absence of fan cooler is an advantage.
I didn't look inside to check the building quality but outside it looks quite solidly

May be just absence of switch and insufficient length of power cord.

I'm planning to build this permantly into my car. transforms the 12volts from the car cigaret-lighter into 220volts like is used at home. as extra, you also get an USB-port, used to charge mobile phones, gps-modules, air fresheners, ... It's the ideal compagnion for on the road. I plug this inverter into the 12-volts car socket, my laptop into the 220volts socket and a bluetooth gps-module or my mobile phone into the usb-port so they're both charging the whole trip. with this inverter I can use my laptop as a gps-system, my gf can play games and go online while driving! back home also usefull while cleaning your car. The vacuumcleaner doesn't need an extra 100meter powercord anymore ;-) just plug him into the inverter.

Pros: Bought the inverter, basically, for laptop additional charge in the car. Used not so unitary - works normally, very silent, it is completely not audible as works. Quality of assemblage good, the case is made of metal, all is accurate. In the inverter there are USB gymnastics, the mobile phone tried to charge the same - all works.

Cons: Unequivocally, too short wire, it would be possible to make twice more long.

Other: The worthy alternative, to a car charger for laptops, and is less than chances to burn laptop - gymnastics that all the same goes through the regular device. Delivery to Russia Kaluga, has occupied only two weeks. Excellent shop - the good goods-fast delivery. Thanks

Pros: Compact size, simple ( no ) controls. Indicator LED when operating. Turns off if overloaded.

Cons: It would not run my laptop with 90W adapter - probably surge current exceeded its limitations.
It is, however, not employed to power a remote wifi router running on solar power and batteries, running 24/7 with no issues.

Other: Good quality build, simple features, reliable - good for very low powered devices. If you want to run a laptop, I might look for a unit which delivers more output - but for low power AC or USB power, it's a fine buy.

Pros: it doesnt have a fan so it is very silent. if you dont put something heavy duty, it doesnt get hot at all.i charge my phone. so i dont need to pay to 12v charger for iphone which is breaking down every 2 months. im using original charger. and also you can use USB if you want. im still using it , over 1 year. it has no problem.

Cons: it didnt work when i put splitter for 220v. i dont know why. my adapter for my laptop is max 90watts. check your laptops adapter, dont push the limit.
