100W Vehicle Bull Horn Loud Speaker and Siren System

Pros: im a vol fire fighter and this thing is great for getting cars out of your way when heading to a call the price of this set is the same as a basic siren costs at a police suppy place then add on another $100+ for a controler box its 100 watts just like the normal ones on police cars and the siern is very heavy duty and well built.is also water resistant as long as u dont put the whole siren under water it will work cuz i had first mounted it on my bumper and was fine till i went thru some water up to the hood at the lake but after drying out and re mounting it on the roof it works fine now.

Cons: control box i got only had 3 sounds horn,welp,wale and the text on it was far eastern but a black marker took care of that quick, fast and in a hurry, the mic they give u is a piece of junk that went right in the trash and its not a 3.5mm audio jack but its ok cuz i just wired my dept. radio to it and use the PA from that thru the siren

Other: if u need a siren on the cheap u cant get much better then this

Pros: its very very simple to wire up. one positive iwre to the battery and one negative to the battery.the speaker connects to the control box via 2 green wires marked + and - and they screw on so no soldering needed there.then the mic just plugs into the control box. it has 3 sirens identical to police sirens here in the uk,so that is fun,and ofcourse the shear voloume of it,its so loud when the sirence are on.lol the megaphone part is very loud aswell

Cons: the mic neds to be better quality and thats the only bad thing i can say really

Other: very pleased with it,very loud when using the sirens,loud when using the megaphone and very easy to mount the speaker itself.its good against the weather aswell.ialways drive threw massive puddles and its still working perfectly.i would advise you take apart the mic casing and put a small bit of j-cloth over the inset mic and then put casing over it,as it stops that annoying noise of when your saying something it picks up the air/wind from your mouth and plays it ove rhte speaker so if you put abit of cloth over it that stops the air/wind being heard on the megaphone. BUY IT NOW ITS WICKED SO MUCH FUN 2 of my mates have gone out to but this aswell they love them so much

Pros: Its loud, sound just like cops, fire or ambulance. Also has an alarm sounding siren and the "barp" sounding airhorn option that cops have to move people on or out of the way. Plus there is also the PA mic.

Cons: Price. The hand set for the PA is a little tinnie.

Other: I have seen cheaper models on ebay with less alarms, but I can tell you this one is the business, if you have the cash its a must.

Pros: Makes quite a bit of noise if you mount it cleverly; finding room under the hood, protecting it from water splashes and still placing it in an open enough space for it to be heard loud enough from outside.

Cons: My electrician mechanic who installed it yesterday says it's nowhere near 100W, the wires are simply too thin to pull that much power. I did expect a bit more noise.

Other: The label says 100W and it does look quite sturdy, however it could use a little more power that it claims to have. I say it's still worth it.

Pros: Loud speaker definatley can be heard
Came with 6 tones and microphone so must have upgraded the model, nice supprise
Wiring was simple to figure out.
When it came to mounting the speaker i found a few places and just used a bolt to attach it to the gearbox mount

Cons: Microphone needs a loud/shouting voice to be loud enough, havent tried different microphones yet
Buttons dont light up at night can be hard to see what button you are pressing

Other: Overall top quality and deffinatly alot more value then any alternative i have seen

Pros: Good termination. The sound is clear and has good volume. You can adjust the volume to the voice and sound. I am very satisfied with the product

Cons: The size of the siren could be smaller. No instruction manual. No manual installation. The price could be lower.

Other: It comes very well protected for transport. If you purchase a product as I would choose the same

Pros: This is a seriously great product! Work every penny! Great built quality, loud and clear sounds. Great control panel with alot of features! Took me 15 minutes to install, and works excellent, very good product and very funny to use.

Cons: The Wires are a little thin, but it works. No Instruction manual, but its simple to understand how to wire it. The microphone push-to-talk button is very plastic, but it works.

Other: Its a little annoying that the Control panel has no lights, makes it confusing if its turned on or not. As Mentioned the microphone button is a little plasticy, but the control panel has a 3.5mm jack input so you can use any type of device you want for this one. I dont understand why its said to be a bull horn, because it has no bull sounds... Comes well protected, but im pretty sure it isnt 100W as said. The wires are really thin to I dont think it can pull that much.

Pros: Very good quality. The horn is huge and quite heavy. Probably won't fit the hood of a small sedan. Should be okay for truck and SUV.

Cons: Pricy. 16 months ago it was $65. Should have got it back then. No manual but simple to install.

Other: Sturdy and good quality. Not sure it is waterproof so mount it with care.
