1080P H.264/RM/RMVB/AVI 2.5" SATA HDD Media Player with HDMI/AV/YPbPr/SD/USB Host

Pros: It does what it says . Read the described videos and audio formats without problem . Easy to install , easy to use , thats what we call plug and play.

Cons: Lack some features just like recognize latin subs and some audio channels on dual audio movies.The cables could use some better materials but it doesnt not affect the performance.

Other: If you dont care about latin subs , its a must have !!!

Pros: Nice device: - portable - can be used as usb-hdd, without external power - has buttons for manual control - feature rich: hdmi, rgb, optical audio (not tested) - good support for mkv: multiple audio tracks, subtitles etc - good full-hd playing, 1080p are ok (compressed in mkv)

Cons: My items initially has a defect: HDMI was not work. I found a small piece of soldering fluid between contacts in video-circuit. I remove it, and hdmi is working now. Remote control is good enough, but turning on and off take some time. Finding menu for mkv handling was not so easy: use a "functions" button. When you connect it as usb-hdd, player is automatically turning off, so you cannot view a movie when using device as usb hdd.

Other: Good and useful device. I'm happy. Buy this if you want compact and feature-rich device. I will recommend this to my friends.

Other: Small compact, easy to use, would definitely recommend it !

Pros: - ready for build in 2,5" hdd - Supports NTFS - Supports danish subtitle (also letters æ,ø,å)

Cons: - Plays AC3 and DTS as stereo both throug HDMI and SPDIF cable. - No support site for software updates (Manual: us SD og USB that contains new firmware to update), but no website to search for update :-(

Other: Ok product if you want to connect a mediaplayer for your television. If you have a surround system it will only play ProLogic surround.

Pros: 1. good amount of video format supported. 2. very portable sizewise. (slightly larger than a portable external drive) 3. easy to set-up. (installed an old sata drive filled with videos) 4. buttons and menu are intuitive. 5. convenient remote control included. 6. usb port works great with flash drives.

Cons: 1. build quality is little less desirable. after using it a few times, the composite output jack came off the circuit board so i had to solder it back. 2. 4-segment 3.5mm cable does not have the same wiring as my camcorder cables so i cannot use them if this breaks. 3. manual is hard to understand. 4. slow response on some remote commands

Other: if i had to do it all over again, i might pay just a little more to buy something else to save me the trouble of repairs and the incoveniency.
