1080P HDTV MPEG4 DVB-T Digital Terrestrial Receiver with HDMI/USB Host/Scart/CVBS/YPbPr

Pros: Works as promised:
- HDMI output works great
- DVB-T MPEG2 channels (good quality)
- DVB-T MPEG4 channels (good quality)
- fast switching between channels (~1 sec)
- AVI/MKV movies from USB stick or HDD(FAT32 only)
- xVid, Divx4/5, H264 support as video stream
- MP3/AC3/AAC audio support in movies
Compact, solid device. A liitle bit heavy. Menu is not super-user friendly, but you can easy navigate, do all program searches, remember and sort channels to view it later.
EPG works good, including russian chars.

Cons: - Does not support NTFS system, so the movie file is limited to 4G
- Does not support DTS as audio stream
- Does not support DivX 3 as video stream
- video rendering for movies is not perfect, but good enough for TVs till 32" (kitchen for example)
- startup time about 15 secs - I would like to have more faster
- according to manual and menu, unit can gives 12V-power to antenna - don't work with my active antenna.
- also it allow amplified antenna signal go through it when in standby mode, but if you will take it's plug from power socket, it stops - your TV does not get antenna signal for analog TV when the unit is not plugged in mains.
- remote is UGLY. I will try to replace it with learning or universal remote.
- if you want to watch movie, you have to do strange things - start movie in preview mode by pressing OK, than open to full screen by RED Button.

Other: Good device as first DVB-T tuner with HDMI/H264. And not too expensive.

Pros: - It works
- Excellent connectivity options
- It has a power switch

Cons: - Does not output audio through HDMI
- The shielding and antenna socket were not fixed properly
- It takes considerable time to warm up
- The record function is faulty - it skips a few seconds of the stream every minute or two
- The heatsink on the chip is fixed by really cheap thermal glue so it was overheating producing artefacts. After I changed the thermal interface, all the problems vanished

Other: - A great product if you are a handyman
- If you are not, I would not recommend it

Pros: Does what is says on the box. Excellent picture quality, sensible menu structure, easy to set up. Tuner itself is small and unobtrusive. Handles various display aspect ratios correctly. Good signal sensitivity.

Cons: Not particularly responsive when one is setting it up (slow CPU?). Remote control looks cheap and fairly ugly.

Other: Money well spent.
