10W 850LM LED Emitter Metal Plate (10~11V)

Pros: It seem to have a good build quality even thought I´m not an expertt. This is the second LED I own and I´m really surpriced abaut it´s brightness.

Cons: Needs a good heat sink or it will operate really hot, I´ll order a video card cooling fan to reduce it´s temperature. Should be carefull when wiring it since its base can conduct electricity.

Other: Good LED for DIY proyects. Be sure to buy a LED driver according to it. I´ve bought one that works between 9-11V 10W and works great. Will see durability in a few years.....

Pros: Cheap, pure white light. Used this to check how led panel would work as a light for a modded commercial data projector, and it definetly proved the point and got me to buy more powerful led plates. I actually watched Slumdog millionaire on a 50-60" size screen with a projector powered by this tiny 10w led plate! The projector application also proved that the light spectrum of this plate is great.

Cons: Well, not a big con but even this small 10w plate has to be cooled with a heatsink. Tried it for a sec without sink and it started to smoke about right away...

Other: Very good overall performance, lots of quality light for the money/watt.

Pros: Very good amount of light at 9V Well marked terminals

Cons: At 11V it is burned. Very hot working at 9V, then it need a big sink or a little sink with a fan.

Other: Good product if used carefully

Pros: - reasonable price; - good luminance for this power; - solid package; - easy mounting; - good and well marked connection terminals;

Cons: - light is bluish (7000K is a bit far from the sunlight color temperature); - needs heat-sink (as every LED over 1W);

Other: Good product for general use. Light output is sufficient for decorative building lighting applications, stairs lighting, virtually any place which doesn't need high brightness single light source.
