11.1V Battery Alarm Buzzer for RC Helicopter

Pros: Works great for any 11.1V (3 Cell) LIPO battery, such as for RC Planes. Simply plug into balancing connector of battery. Alarm is loud and LEDs give indication of life of each of 3 cells. Small and lightweight ~4g. Alarm sounds at about 3.15V per cell which gives ample time to land before LVC (Low Voltage Cutoff) of controller kicks in. Incredible deal for $3.61 ea!! I've bought 2 more to permanently mount in each plane.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Other: If you fly RC Electric (LIPO 3cell 11.1V) powered planes, I highly recommend this tiny device. It is identical to those sold elsewhere for >20$.

Pros: Very good device, can be used for any amount of cells, i use for 2s, works fine, could even be used for larger packs like 6s, unless your pack is way out of balance one of the first 3 cells will go in to alarm before any of the others get too low.
louder than other similar devices i have used.

Other: Get unit, loud, very useful, multi purpose.
you could even mount it somewhere on your car or plane and run a balance extension wire so it cam be mounted anywhere.
can be used for planes, or cars/trucks with speed controllers that do not have a low voltage cutoff, warning light and buzzer is much more convenient than losing power due to low voltage cutoff device.

Pros: Great item. I zipped tied it to my Trex 450 heli side near the front battery. Loud alarm gives warning that its time to land soon! If you cannot hear the alarm, the three red leds will show that that time is up!

Cons: Not much, easy to use, maybe need a leaflet to inform users how to connect to the battery. Might want to include zip ties and double sided tape so that it will be easy to fixed up

Other: Great tool for helis ! Buy one for every heli you own,for the price it is cheap

Pros: Build quality is very nice. It even has shrinking heat tubing for extra protection. Easy to connect, you just plug em in and your ready. It does the job it was built for- buzzer makes a lot of noise and thus is its easy to notice and land on time.

Other: If you need them, buy them. They are cheap! I got 3 of em and I am quite pleased.

Pros: I think this is a very professional tool. I realy like it! i use it on my T45, my T39 and my esky belt cp v2. I really like the loud noise it makes! It flashes when the battery is allmost dead. Normally i have to wait for the ESC to slow down my motor but when you are in a loop or doing some 3D... NOT a good idea to just slow down the engine! :p

Cons: Not realy a con but... i wish it could be smaller and the lights were gone. B cause they suck up the energy (not much but hey... the longer the flight the longer the fun:p)

Other: Any RC freak (and beginner) should buy one of these!

Pros: Very good quality. Due to an engine failure my copter dropped on sea and sunk. Heli was in 4m depth at the bottom of the sea for 30 minutes until I got it up. Heli was naturally totally broken, but this buzzer works still after 4 months. It is amazing that the salt water could not break it. The lacquer that protects the circuit board is very good quality. I still use this on every flight.

Other: A mandatory device for each lipo helicopter. Saves money when you can avoid crashes.

Pros: This little guy is great. It has saved my wallet awhole lot of greenbacks. Just velcro it to a lipo, plug it into the balance jack of lipo when you plug lipo into speed controller and go play.

Cons: For helicopter/plane use, the alarm could be alittle louder when flying at a distance or at high altitude. It has 6 LED's on it. 3 green when you first plug it into balance jack, it will stay lit when lipo is above 10.5 volts, and draw a very small current from lipo. Other 3 are red, and when lipo drops at or below 10.5 v. the 3 red LED's and alarm will be set off.

Other: Buy this alarm. If you value your lipo betteries, this is a MUST have. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: -its cheap -when an 11.1v battery drops below 10.5v, the alarm will go off -can be used on 7.4v lipo batteries -can save you alot of money -loud for me, because its for an airsoft gun battery -When plugged in, it all lights up, buzzes, then goes monitors, basically has a start up sequence

Cons: no cons at all, does what it is supposed to do. Maybe have a dual alarm system to make it louder?

Other: A must for all lipos, could save you alot of money.

Pros: Small, good build quality, well protected in the transparent thermo tube, works as expected, great price. Correct indication of the battery voltage level Having in mind that it can help you to avoid crashing your priceless model, you must have this, especially that cost you almost nothing

Pros: Loud if you place right. Cuts on the proper voltage! :) Light indicators:) Compact and small. I cane hear it half throttle with my EDF jet Can save your battery, your model, and money :)) Came with a wrapping, pretty good.

Cons: This should really only cost $1.50-2 Voltage can be .1 off actual. No other cons to mention. Maybe could have an adapter for previous gen balancer leads.

Other: Buy it, it's a must in any box.
