1156 3.5W 68-SMD LED 310-Lumen 6500K Brake/Backup White Light Bulbs (Pair/DC 12V)

Pros: Used as a replacement for the original 1141 bulbs in our RV. Uses 1/10 of the current draw (0.140A for this 1156 LED vs 1.4A for 1141). At 310-lumens this bulb is quite a bit more light output than a typical 1141 bulb at around 104 lumens.

Cons: Not really a con, but be careful handling them as they do not have a protective enclosure around them.

Other: Its a great price for my application, and works well. The bulbs come wrapped individually in foam and then packaged in a small ziplock bag. shipping is done in a bubble pouch. No issues with shipping.

Pros: It is a very nice product, I changed my normal 21 Watt 12 V Reverse light with these and it's amazing how my yellow light changed to a more powerfull and white one. It's very white (maybe a little blueish, but almost none) and powerfull... I can use my reverse lights to see what's behind, even with my black windows!

Cons: None, maybe price could be lower? I don't know... its really amazing so price should not be a con!

Other: Very good product! You can use it as brake or reverse light, without being scared people don't see your braking sign!

Pros: It's a lot brighter and whiter than the standard P21W (1156) lamp.
I'm using it as for the reverse lamp and it does the job very well. Now I can even see in the night what's back with my reverse cam :D
It does not get as hot as a standard incandescent lamp.

Cons: It's quite long, a few milimeters long and it wouldn't fit.
It has no protective housing, so you must be careful when it's inserted in the socket.
The price.
I've replaced the back fog light and it's possible to be a little annoying for others in the back if I light it up. (but, if it's dense fog they will surely see me)
So, no real cons!

Other: I liked so much this lamp, so with the second one I've used to replace the fog light in the back (one bulb, under a red plastic thingy).

Pros: This bulb was used in a trailer exterior fixture. It give the same light as the bulb it replaces with lower power consumption. The trailer is used in dry camping situations so low power consumption is critical.

Cons: This unit could have had all the LED facing in one direction to maximize light for the fixture. This unit was the best value for the LED array and base type.

Other: This is a great replacement bulb. I am hoping in the future that all trailer fixture will go 100% LED because power consumption is lower. This would likely lead to light fixtures that would be simple, economical and standard.

Pros: Easily replaces a P21W reverse light No significant heat generated. Will probably never burn out.

Cons: Does not generate as much light as the original P21W. Seems about half as bright. May not be sufficient for you to see far enough when driving backwards. Not cheap.

Other: Good enough to alert other drivers to your reversing, but not bright enough to light your way.

Pros: These P21 LED replacement "bulbs" are awesome. I have bought these to replace the standard halogen P21 bulbs, which are horrible imho. I dont like the standard yellow-ish light. Driving a Renault Megane Coupe with aftermarket lighting, I had to upgrade the bulbs as such. They are bright, have a nice pattern and conserve power and ease of the strain on your alternator, which is a good thing.

Cons: The price may always be lower, but $10 is quite a bargain for these bulbs. Nice! Build quality can always be "better", but you can drop em on the floor without having to buy new ones I guess.

Other: They are bright, more economic, have cool blueish light and have a cool pattern. What is not to like! Highly recommended bulb replacement.

Pros: - Lower power consumption than regular 1156/1157 bulb.
- Build quality is good.
- Direct replacement for a 1156 bulb (no modifications needed)

Cons: - Slightly less than equal brightness than a regular 1156/1157. (About 10% less bright)
- Taller/longer than a regular 1156/1157 bulb (may not fit in some housings)
- Cool white light may be annoying if using as a working area light or reading light in RV's.
- These should be less expensive.

Other: - Get this bulb if you want have lower power consumption.
- This bulb will not be significantly brighter than a good 1156 incandescent bulb.
- Check to make sure you have extra room for the longer/taller LED bulb.
- Good if you are okay with a cool white bulb.

Pros: they give a better look to the lights then normal bulb's

Cons: would be about HALF at bright as standard bulb's that cost $0.80 a twin pack.

Other: waste of time and money if you want a brighter light but ok if you want the L.E.D look.

Pros: Bright. but not so bright that i expected. seems a little bit fragile with all those tiny Leds,so handle with care when you mount them. Works fine as front parkinglight in my Volvo 850.

Cons: ok for that price. i am going to buy more of these to use in my caravan and boat.

Other: Ok product. I hope it will work for long time and not break in our northern climate.

Pros: This lamp have white light and good durability. I use it more than year already and lamp did not break yet. I bought 6 of them and no one of them have been broken. Also, it fit my car's lights without any problems. This product have a good price for such good quality. Not expensive for a lot of people, I think.

Cons: This lamp not that bright like the 21 W, but still good by durability.

Other: A good lamps with good quality, bright lights, not expensive. I think, i'll buy some more later at DX and i'll recommend this to my friends.
