Pros: This product is very decorative It does whatis supposed to do: humidifie the air. You can see it working: you can see the mist being created. There is a rubber stop on it, so if you use it in a glass bowl with a hole in it for the cord, it provides a watertight fit.

Cons: This product is not complete. You should have a bowl with water you can put it in. In the bowl there should be a hole to put the cord throug. I bouht a few in Thailand and they lasted only about 3 months each. This is a different brand, so maybe this one is build better. It has a flat powerplug. If your country uses round powerplugs, remember to order them!

Other: I love this product. It is decorative andusefull in a room with dry air. It makes a nice soft splashy sound. It looks a bit mysterious. With a few drops of scented oil, the room smells nice.

Pros: It is a good product to decorate, plus humidify the air.
Makes a little hiss, but not annoying. If covered, you hear water dripping like a fountain.

Cons: If this much time working just heating the water, which evaporates faster.
No cover just splashed a lot.
Depending on where it is installed normally wet the surface around.
Si esta mucho tiempo funcionando acaba calentando el agua, con lo que se evapora mas rapido.
Sin cubrir acaba salpicando mucho.
Dependiendo de donde se instale suele humedecer la superficie de alrededor.

Other: It is a very good buy, with a double function, decorate and humidify.
It is very original way to see the fog coming and going like a waterfall.
Es una muy buena compra, con doble funcion, decorar y humidificar.
Queda muy original ver la niebla que forma y que va saliendo como si fuera una cascada.

Pros: Cheap an working. It's exactly the same device like in expensive fancy designed humidifiers sold in local shops. It has water level sensor, so you can let it running during the night and switch itself automatically of when the water level is low.

Cons: Without European power socket, but capable of working with 230V. Simple adapter is a must.

Other: The color LEDs can not be turned off.

Pros: Cheap, produces good mist. Fairly silent except for the dripping sound. Quality feels good, but I haven't used it for more than a couple of weeks so it's too early to tell if it will last or not. Turns off automatically when the water level gets too low.

Cons: Stirs up large water drops that produce a dripping sound. LED lights are flashing/animating.

Other: Satisfied with the purchase. Worth the money.

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to do. You cover it with water, plug it to main, and it starts producing mist and light, plus a nice cropping water sound.

Cons: Some water is displayed around when in use (as it's normal for such a product). So don't forget, if you're building you own fountain, to use the plastic parts to put a cover above the mist-maker. Price could be cheaper, and the mist-maker may be available without power unit, as lifespan is limited (see below).

Other: I bought one to replace similar item sold with an existing fountain. After about 2 years, not using it very often, and after even trying to replace the ceramic disc inside, it stopped working. So I tried to find a replacement part. So I won't need power unit, as it's solid built, but I had to get one with the device. So it's not very environnemental friently...
