12V 30A Iron Case Power Supply - Black + Silver (AC 110~220V)

Pros: 11~15 volt adjustable range. very stable voltage at sudden current changes. soldering job looks very good.

Cons: fan will not turn on on start, it will start when the PSU gets hot. you must have more cooling equipment for this PSU as it will get hot.

Other: if you need to use more then 250w parallel two of those power supplies.

Pros: I know this kind of powersupplies in 24 and 48VDC This type 12-15V 30A is new for me but as good and reliable as the other ones, wich power up lasers (CO2 and Argon-ion). So the quality must be perfect, those lasers are very expensive . This 12V type can be set on 15 VDC and is very suitable to work with/load Lead gel accu batteries. It is however stable enough to run oscillators and other systems wich are difficult to feed. That's why I used lead batteries and recharged them afterwards, because a very expensive lab-powersupply was destroyed. This powersupply however is powerfull and stable enough even to deliver the oscillator the power direct, even without the use of the leadbattery as buffer. So, for me a lot easier and because this powersupply can be set in a relatively large range, I could optimize my setup.

Cons: NONE

Other: Perfect buy. I don't know how the types with lower power are but this one is a first choice. Even if you do not need the high current, the quality versus the price is very good. I prefer this type. I have more (much more) than 10 of these supply's in use (with other voltages) and not one has given up in the past 5 years I've used them. That tells me a lot.

Pros: I bought this power supply to run my 20 amp RC battery charger. It's nice and compact and is adjustable from 10 - 15 volts. I have been looking for a 30 amp power supply for a long time that wouldn't break the bank...others I have seen for a 30 amp start at $60 up to $150 and are cheaply made and don't last. Everything in this supply is well built and thought out. The case is made of all aluminum not iron and is very light. aluminum dissapated heat better then iron and that's what you need in a good power supply.

Cons: Fuse came out of the fuse holder during shipping (shippers fault) and I had to remove the top pannel to put it back in the holder.

Other: I am so happy with this unit that I posted it on my online rc plane forum so that others can purchase it for their hobby needs. Recommended and if need be will purchase again.

Pros: The User is interested in linking Amateur Radio equipment can connect without problems due to the large current available and low noise, and small equipment and generates large load available, possiu adequate ventilation and also has built-in safeguards voltage setting where you can fit your need of 12 volts to 15 volts you about.

Cons: The rear connections create some discomfort because of appearance but after doing some upgrades putting a wrench to turn a stretch of good quality and some details to improve the appearance was even pleasant to look at.
