12V 5A 60W AC Power Supply Unit with 5.5mm DC Plug for LCD Monitors Cord - EU Plug (110~240V)

Pros: Great value for the money.
Build quality is as good as original.
It even looks like the old one i am replacing.
Works on several different models.
Auto sensing ac voltage input means same part for us and eu customers. This is driving prices down.

Cons: Noting I can think of?
It didn't jump out of the box and install itself :)

Other: I have seen a lot of lcd's fomr Fujitsu and MulitQ that only needs a new psu to be working again, but the original item can be difficult to get a hold on for a reasonable price. Think no further, buy this one.

Pros: Superb value, this stuff is hard to find in my country at a reasonable price. Build quality is just as good as original. It brought back a mini laptop from the dead.

Cons: Nothing really. I mean, come on, it works, it lasts and the build quality is A-OK.

Other: Sometimes you just need a new psu to get your electronics working again, and all you can find is expensive stuff. Thankfully, DX can offer a solution, at least for me. Buy.

Pros: It works.
It's cheap.

Cons: Output voltage is 12.5-13V, not enough to charge laptop batteries.
The connection between the power cord and the power socket is unreliable. You have to hold it with Your hand, because the slightest movement can cause the cord to electrically disconnect although the mechanical movement is less than 1mm.

Other: I tried to use it on my laptop, but it did not charge the batteries and it was tedious to hold the cord because of disconnection problems.
Actually I bought this unit, because I wanted a cheap power supply for my home electronics (3-4 A). As such it works great:
- no batteries to charge
- movement problems nonexistent because of stationary installation
- voltage very close to 12V, which is suitable for my 12V electronics

Pros: Descent build quality, Open circuit it outputs 12.5 volts. Has overload protection, resets if overloaded instead of becoming a paper weight. When loaded it only generates a modest amount of heat.

Cons: It does not output 5 amps as advertised, only produces 3-4amps before shutting down. As stated above, overloading does not smoke the unit, which would make it a "do not buy".

Other: Ok for price, so long as you only need 3amps.
