Pros: The light output is blue-white, and very very very wide angle, I'd say almost 180 degrees light output.
This strip is divided up into 8.33 sections, yes, 8 and one third. Each section has nine leds, the 1/3 section has, you guessed it, three.
EACH of these sections is labeled 12V75W25A, which, when translated, is 12 volts, and I assume, again, I ASSUME .75 watts and .25 amps per each section.
That's a total of 6.25 Watts, at 2.01 amps at 12volts DC.
YES, the wires are labeled VCC and GND. It further looks as if you can break this strip into 9LED segments, as there are print marks and solder points to connect the wiring every nine LEDS. Further, as the 1/3 section consists of 3LEDS, I assume you could actually break it down to sections of 3, instead of nine.
I haven't broken mine yet, into segments, but I may. It is a rather bright strip, but it should be brighter for 75 leds that consume 6.25 watts. Gets warm too. It will probably be too much for my car trunk, but hey, it'll be a great help loading up all the bodies...er, groceries, yeah, groceries. :)
Cons: Not sealed, no moisture resistance.
Cool blue. Not the worst I've seen, but not the most natural of colors indoors.
2 amps? Not going be running this one on any wall transformers, are ya? Have a fire extinguisher ready. ;)
Definitely not as bright as I expected 75 LEDs to be. But it IS BRIGHT, no doubt, just not up to my expectations. I'd say it's on par with the output of a 20 to 25watt incandescent bulb
Other: A semi-bright, power hungry strip that (likely) can be broken down (cut) into shorter segments if needed.

Pros: Very light, easy to work with. Very cool blue white light. Not much heat output. almost cool to the touch running 24/7. I'm planning on buying several more.
Cons: The strip is not solidly connected to the exterior housing, it slides inside the housing.
Fragile, second light arrived slightly damaged, better pacaging could have prevented this.
I was able to repair it after about an hour's work.
Other: I'm curious to see if they really draw the 2A that someone has postulated, according to the printing.
I may put an inline digital ammeter on it tomorrow.

Pros: Bright even light.
Cheaper than building your own, and saves time.
Easy to cut to desired length or to connect several units together.
Cons: Solderings are awful.
Some LEDs are not placed firm against the PCB.
Other: Good unit for the price.
I would only use it indoors as it is a very basic design, a PCB slided into a piece of plastic.

Pros: Lots of light for a 5.6w strip. Consumes 0.45A from my computer psu's 12v rail which is capable of delivering up to 52 amps. About as bright as my 13W fluorescent table lamp. Wide viewing angle as stated by others, damned bright when you look at them straight on. Pretty white light, tends to be eveer so slightly blluish.
Cons: Not exactly the highest quality i've ever seen. if i touch one of the groups of three leds, they will actually turn off, leading me to believe that soldering wasnt that great.
Other: Great purchase for the price.

Pros: Very bright, brilliantly versatile, compact, energy efficient and fantastic price.
It's sold as a light, and it lights things up. To those complaining about build quality: it's not sold as something you can rough up. It's sold as a basic light for using in simple applications.
Mine arrived intact, fully working and with no wobbly LEDs like some people mentioned.
Cons: It could be thinner, but to be honest, it's fine as it is.
Other: If you're looking for something to withstand knocks and bumps, it's probably best to make a cover, or place these out of reach. Otherwise, it's a great product for anyone who wants a bright, simple and efficient light.

Pros: An excellent product and a best buy for the number of emitters per dollar. Bright white.
Easy for beginners to use as is, and cutable like the ribbon strips, at any three LED junction. There are good solder pads at each cut point if you wish to use shorter sections.
Cons: No cons since those arriving now are different to the one displayed in the customer picture and early revues. The soldering is good quality and the board design better.
Other: A good bargain choice for those considering
SKU 5256 or even SKU 5312

Pros: Was surprised by how bright these LED strips are. Sufficient to use for general illumination - I've used a couple in a caravan and they work very well. Appear to be well made and all 11 that I have purchased worked.
Cons: No cons - an excellent product for the price.
Other: Well worth the asking price.

Cons: Nada. Fiquei muito satisfeito com o produto.
Other: Vale a pena. Apesar da demora de quase um mês para a entrega no Brasil o produto chegou perfeito.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Bright, cheap, since LED are raised ~5mm above the PCB the light is distributed and not directed, can be cut every 9 LEDs, 9.5cm Wires for GND and 12V, labeled at pcb
Cons: Its somewhat thick so not suited for applications which require space-efficiency
Other: Great product, one strip can light up a small to medium sized room enough to pass through or light up your workbench
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I wanted a bright light for my pickup cap, and I got one. I wired it to a lighted toggle switch, so that the led in the switch is always on. This makes it easy to find in the dark. When you flick the switch...WOW...it lights up the entire inside of the cap as if it were daylight.
Cons: Build quality is mediocre. I don't know how it will stand up to the shaking in the vehicle. However, it is just zip-tied to the frame, so replacement will be easy (and cheap).
Other: I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone I have shown this to has been impressed, and I think I sold a few for DX. I may buy an extra to have in case of failure, or I may buy a few to sell myself.
