DIY 5mm14000mcd White Light LED Emitters (25 PCS)

Pros: Bright and cheap. :) Works great as a spotlight/headlight for RC. Seems to be very close to the ones used in super bright keychain flashlights. I replaced one with this and it worked great.

Cons: none

Other: Buy a few... You'll be able to find use for it in a few projects.

Pros: Very bright white output. Did not notice a strong bluish tint. Actually seems more a warm white.

Cons: None

Other: Fantastic price, good light output. Love it.

Pros: - bright - long wires - small

wish someting told me what power should be used

Pros: Cheap compared to other overseas online LED retailers.

Cons: Don't really know how much voltage these take. Don't really want to experiment on my own and burn one out.

Other: Great LED's at an unbeatable price

Pros: As cheap as they can be. Very bright. All of them work!

Cons: None really.

Other: Build nice constant current circuit for them (or just use resistor if you are cheap and/or like simple solutions) and they won't fail you. I think you should drive them @ 20mA for safe operations without burning them out (didn't try yet, but i think it would be something like 3.4V for that purpose).
IF you are willing to risk of killing them, use max 40mA, no more!:)

Pros: A lot brighter than first generation white LEDs. Can make old devices useful.
Consistent, unlike the 10-pack I recieved. I was hoping for at least 6 bright LEDs, it was a nice bonus to have 25 of them.

Cons: Bluish tint.
Not the brightest LEDs available.

Other: Nichia GS LEDs may be the current rage but these are good value white LEDs.

Pros: Cheap and nice LED which is as bright as a white led from a (super) bright led key chain
[with the same battery used (3 button cells)]

Cons: specifications V? mA? not listed

Other: Bright and cheap with no quality problems as far as i know for a LED. Good too have home for replacements or modifications.
Shipped in a bubble wrap bag together with some other things in a bubble wrap envelope.

Pros: Really cheap white leds. They are very bright so they are very usable in my car with a 470 ohm resistor.
The led's are focussed.
I actually git 27 instead of 25 leds., thanx for that dx!!
The light is a little blueish but it's not annoying at all.

Other: If you're in need of some very bright white leds buy these!!!

Pros: -When I bought these, it was the cheapest price per led avaiable in DX.

Other: -exactly as I expected

Pros: Brilliant white light. Not as powerful as a lightbulb by any means, but anyone buying this product should expect that. Easy to distinguish between positive and negative legs, so no problems there. Packaged in red bubble wrap bag; I still use the bag as a holder, the leads have yet to puncture it or break. Legs can withstand some bending, but I would avoid trying to shape them multiple times.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other: Buy this. This set of 25 costs as much as 1 led from local electronics retailers. This is an exceptional deal.
