Pros: Handy device, easily and accurately set. I use it in my car for media player. with 4 diodes I have the input voltage 2.5 volts lowered, then I could adjust the tension nicely at 12.5 volts. because a car when the engine is running 14.5 volts charging. Cons: The output voltage can not be set lower than the input voltage

Other: Handy device for little money, certainly useful for a laptop because they are generally at a higher working voltage than 14.5 volts in a car.

Pros: The device is good at laptop powerful loading (> 50 watts). Heating is negligible. Efficiency as declared. The minimum input voltage was lower. Device to run with 9,6 V, but with low efficiency.

Cons: If you want to use the equipment at full capacity (80-150 watts) - do not install it on a small and tightly closed shell. Load ~ 150 watts probably need a fan.

Other: The unit deals with the task. With proper cooling, can work on the stated power (150 watts). I would recommend using it on a constant load up to 100 watts.
