Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nice lo>med>hi group without strobe or SOS function. Simple to install
Cons: cable not soldered from factory.
Other: this regulator has no sos and strobe group which i like.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I have A C2 that I have modified with a Q5 and now with this driver now its even brighter than before and has multi modes.
Cons: I should have bought more then 1.
Other: If you have a Cree Q5 or want multi modes you might want to think about getting one of these.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. The modes work great, the groups are even better. I just wanted to run my C2 in med mode and it works great in Hi Med Low group. Pulls .9A at 4.2 Li-Ion Pulls .55A at 3.8 Li-Ion... which I don't really understand, but I'm not a brightness freak and can't see the difference. I'll double check that some day.
Cons: Wires not soldered, needed to file it down to fit C2 pill.
Other: Does what I bought it for. And heck, $3.60 probably barely covers the shipping.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Three groups of modes
And Low-Med-Hi mode is that what I want
build quality look good
fit perfectly in wf 502b
It had memory light level
if you turn the light on more than 2 secs and turn off
it'll stay that level when you turn on again
Cons: I replaced it in wf 502b
in Hi it get a little bit warmer than stock
(maybe it driven harder)
wire not connect from factory but it easy to did that
Other: This must be great circuit for anyone who want to upgrade their lights like me
especially your 1 mode lights
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap, 1A It have group with low, med, hi and nothing else!
Cons: none actually, works perfect!
If I have to be picky, I would like group that have low, med, hi and strobe without useless SOS...
Other: It would be great in 15mm version; I had to sand edges a lot to fit it in my flashlight. Sanding destroyed some cooper so i had to reroute that. I have also put 47uF capacitor in place of C1, dunno if it helped somehow, but it works. :)

Pros: Perfect size for a C2 flashlight, good for driving a LED other than Q5, price is good for such a versatile board. Many useful modes.
Cons: Gives less power to a Q5 than the original LED that came with the C2, gave me a blur vision and headache for a while after soldering the wires because it was so small. Had to hunt for wiring instruction.
Other: Buy it if you want to upgrade to multi-mode and good battery life. To get the max out of a Q5, use the SKU 4735 instead
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -16 modes in 3 groups.
-I love the 3 mode only group. No need to mess with strobe or SOS on a daily basis.
-Still has Strobes and SOS in case I want them
-Extends the functionality of flashlights and runtimes due to lower outputs availible.
-Good price
Cons: -Almost always out of stock!!!
Other: Great buy, hard to beat if you can get one!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I used this to replace a defective driver in my Ultrafire C2 with a CREE Q5 and it works pretty well.
Current draw is 50mA in low, 300mA in med and 1070mA in high-mode with a freshly charged 18650 battery.
Cons: actually none
Other: Good board, will fit a C2 without problems
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Makes your dull 1-mode flashlight more interesting again. The police flash mode is rather interesting to show off to your spouse or cat of fish.
Cons: Low mode is too low. Just good enuf to read maps <1 feet away. Had to put a little guess work as to which PCB pad is positive to solder the 2 pieces of wire given. Not hard tough.
Other: Get it to re-furbish your old fall-out-of-love single mode flashlights.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: + Has mode group without idiotic strobes
+ Low mode good enough to use at low (<3 meters) ranges, and this give you near two days of light
+ Excellent build quality
+ Low&Mid mode are not linear(i think it pwm regulated), so driver doesn't require cooling!
Cons: - No information about LED connection
- Too many strobe modes
- Only <5V on input (more will fry microcontroller)
Other: Best of driver boards, avaliable from this shop for use with single 3.7v battery.
