  • BEWARE!!! They only shipped one and not two packs!

Pros: Cells are as pictured but they did not ship the 2 packs that they advertised. I paid for 3 -2 packs and they only shipped 3 cells. I will post here if they ship me the other three cells they owe me.

Cons: They advertised that this is a two pack and when I ordered 3 they only shipped 3 cells not the 6 I should have got. I am atempting to contact customer service and will post here if they respond in a positive fasion

Other: If they shipped the quantity they advertised the cells apear to be a good deal but at double the price it is a rip off!

Pros: The cells they shipped are blue not green. They are marked 18650 (thats the size) 3.2V LiFePO4. After two charge and discharge cycles on my new G.T. Power A8 charger I charged a two cell pack up and then ran a discharge on them. At a 1.1 Amp discharge rate the cells start to drop off in voltage rather fast at 1100 mAhr the 2 cell pack reads 5.69 volts and at 1200 mAhr it reads 4.57volts.

Cons: If they were actually 2 cell packs for this price it would be a good deal they charged me for 3 sets of 2 cell packs and only shipped 3 cells. For that price you would be better off buying a Black and Decker VPX pack at you local Wal Mart as those are better cells and can take a higher discharge rate and still deliver.

Other: Unless they fix the problem with only shipping one cell instead of two cell packs DO NOT BUY! Go to you local Wall Mart and buy a Black and Decker VPX pack they are better cells. If they do fix the problem with actually shipping what you pay for then these cells are fine for most on board receiver packs for R/C boats and planes.

  • Customer Support is fixing my short shipment!

Pros: I just got an email from customer support. They are going to ship the other 3 cells. If anyone else orders these please write a review and post if you get two cell packs. I would like to order more if it was just a simple mistake as they are nice cells for flight packs for the price as long as they are shipping the 2 cell packs as advertised.

Cons: Should not have had to go through the trouble of having to contact customer support to get what I had originally ordered. That being said at least they offered to send the items I was short.

Other: As long as this was a simple shipping mistake and they do ship 2 cell packs these cells are nice for the money. I am happy that they have promised to ship the other three cells that I thought I was getting in the first place.

Pros: Capacity closed to advertised capacity. Durable and wont explode like Liion. Maintain its voltage under relatively heavy load. Can be fully charge in 30 minutes, try that with Lithium Ion. This cells love to be abused :) Seems to have good quality. Doesnt have protection circuit so nothing will break.

Cons: Smaller capacity compared to Normal Lithium Ion.

Other: I tested 1 battery upon receiving it so it only have 1 cycle, the result is 1280mah @2A discharge. I Received 2pcs, so DX fixed the mishap.

    Pros: -Decent price
-Much lower danger of explosion than other lithium chemistries! (nothing is ever 100% safe, though :p)

Cons: -Half the capacity of the standard lithium cells sold here.

Other: -Get these if you're worried about "safety" of the cells - these are more durable and are less likely to have an incident happen.

Pros: The capacity very close to declared - mine IMax B6 shows 1230-1250mAh at 1A discharge current (discharger is not able to consume less than 1A).
Fast recharge (about 30 min) ability
    Easily to solder conclusions.

Cons: Low current at discharge (4C only) - LiFePo4 accu's by "A123 cells" give me up to 10C
Price may be lower, at all...

Other: I will buy more, quality suits me!

its cheap. get it if you need it.
could be nice if it came in a plastik holder.
but i have ordered some from this page. so no problem..

Cons: well maybe it is the light. but it seems to loose power fast. but it might be my flashlight i dont know.
its not to easy to see what side is +

Other: get it if you need it.

  • Beeeeeeeeeeeeerry good!

Pros: regarding the con: on the anode it has 4 holes, where you can put a spring for putting the cells on series for diy.
fully compatible with many flashlights, etc...
mine came with 4.27v with 4.60amp.

Cons: don't have the bigger tip on the anode, being hard to use 2 cells on series, on diy projects (not really a con)
lasts half the time of a common 18650, but it is not a con, it is a disadvantage of the LiFePO4.
    NO CONS!

Other: buy it ! can even replace two AA cells (on some devices that could use 3.6~3.2 instead of 2.6~3v)

Pros: - high amp (4.5amp), with 10 of these maybe you can turn your car on :P
    - blue hehehe
    - right voltage for laser addicted (3.2v)
    - unprotected, common sized
    - can get full charge in 30 min, with the right charger.
    - LiFePO4 (no need to say more)

Cons: - somehow get discharged faster than Li-Ion, but it is common to LiFePO4.
    - hard to connect in series, both sides are flat.
    - hard to find a charger, but one can be home-made.

    Other: very good and useful.
    Deal class: HOT! (4.5/5)

  • Very good accu, buy this instead ordinary LiPo

posted by RCair on 03:41:50 G5T 14/05/2012 certificated customer

Pros: I've bought 4 items (2pack) to repair my no-name accu drill - I wanted to substitute old NiCd 12V pack with 2P4S pack of this LiFePo. Work perfectly, real capacity 1200mAh/cell measured by Orbit Pocketlader, 4A output without any noticeable heating. After 1 month of everyday using no capacity losses.

Cons: No cons, really :) may by price could be slightly lower, and I will buy another 4 packs

Other: Great for hobby and home use, just try it - buy this 2pack instead of single one
