When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: -Many sizes allow you to easily find just the right one for the application. -You can stock your workshop with these at low cost. -Ideal for the R/C hobbyist. -Seems reasonable quality. -Smallest diameter is very tiny and I've never even seen HST so small. If you are into micro R/C this is going to be useful.
Cons: Could be even lower price I guess. If it was free I would buy more. ;)
Other: If you are an R/Cer or an electronics enthusiast, this set is quite useful. The price is good--you can check your local hardware store: mine has a small container of assorted diameters, maybe 1 meter total length, for like $5! Better to avoid scams like that and purchase this set. I don't notice any difference using this tubing compared to others I've used.

Pros: 5 pieces of exactly 1 meter long tubes. You get 5 tubes, all different sizes. Easy to shrink, I used minitorch. I was not able to light thies things by accident.. :D
Cons: None really. Smallest one is quite small for everyday uses.
Other: Cheap and useful, buy if you think you ever gonna need thiese. We read all reviews before posting them and may reject some reviews if they don't follow the guidelines. Here are some of the things that can cause a review to be rejected:

Pros: Save yourself from short circuits. Hold many wires and keep them from straying. Feel like a pro.
Cons: Annoying how these things unfold, hold together with a rubber band, but not too tight.
Other: Into electronics and wiring? Get this and protect any mods you do.

Pros: You get 5 pieces of 1 meter heat shrink tubing of various sizes. You can but heat shrink tube at Radio Shack but don't bother. You only get 6 feet for twice the price. With this product you get roughly 15 feet for just a couple of dollars.
Cons: None. It does exactly what it should.
Other: Great to have on hand and does exactly what it was made to do.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Does its work, shrinks about to the half of the original diameter.
Very, Very cheap. It is difficult to obtain in some countries, at reasonable prices.
Cons: No cons, but the the packaging is bad.
The tubes comes tied with packing tape, which adheres to the tubes, leaving it sticky. If they sent it tied with a string could be better
Other: For bigger works its great. For thinner things buy the another smaller tubes.
It would be good a 5 Pack with more variety of diameters, for example, 0.8, 2.5, 4.5, 7, 10 milimeters, because the tubes shrinks to aprox. the half of the original diameter.

Pros: I got more than I thought I would. I was expecting all pieces to total 1M which would would be a bargain compared to what others sell this for. I got about three feet in each size. Sweet!!!! It's all high quality. Great for professionals and hobbiests.
Cons: Can't find any. The packaging may be improved but the difference would be negligable.
Other: This package is so cheap it's like getting it FREE!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Nothing much to be said about these, the variety of sizes allows you to use them in various activities, makes a neater much better finish than when using tape!!
Cons: The tape wrapping it gets a little sticky, may be some kind of band could be used to hold them instead
Other: Does exactly the job for what it is intended!!! Cheap and nice!

Pros: This stuff is literally the exact same stuff you would buy from hobby shops here in the states. It only has a different production run number. It sells for for 4x as much money and less than 1/3rd of the actual product where I live.
That's not an exaggeration. They'll sell you 8 inch pieces of this stuff for $10 in stores here, so DX is a lifesaver. Sometimes I really do hate the huge inflation that occurs between other countries and the USA.
Cons: My only complaint is the packaging...it is folded up and then all taped together. After you remove that tape, there's a sticky residue, so that's no fun. Also it doesn't come with a spool or anything, which is why I gave it the 4/5 for ease of use. This stuff will be dangling all over if you're like me and you don't want to cut it to sections.
Other: This is the same stuff you'd get in the USA from hobbyshops where they'll charge you literally 12x as much.

Pros: "Heat Shrink Tubing" is made to cover for example soldered cables. And yes they do what they are made for. They make your cable salad safer, nicer and reduce the chance to have a short.
Cons: No protection against forgetting to put them on the cable BEFORE fixing the plug. ;-) Nothing really!
Other: These are good shrink tubes - always usefull! Get some !
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Capable of shrinking to a third of it's size, great price.
Cons: None really, as others have mentioned an elastic or something of that sort may be better than tape for packaging.
Other: If you ever use shrink tubing, this is worth getting. Really, if you have not used it before but know what it is, this is worth getting.
