1mm*1-Meter Rosin Core Solder

Pros: This solder is superb value for money. 1m at this price is not to be sniffed at. The solder itself flows evenly and makes a very good solder joint. The flux content is just right, but if you want to be extra sure a little extra works just fine.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other: Yet another fantastic item from deal extreme. I was doubtful of the quality when I saw the price, but having bought and used it, I must say I am overjoyed and very suprised at the quality of this solder. I for one will definatley be purchasing alot more of this.

Pros: -It's really easy to use this core solder in DIY projects.
-It has a really low price in comparison for what you can buy in your own country.
-It has a good fusion temperature.
-You have 1 meter for just a little price

Cons: I didn't found any con to this great product.
I used it all doing some Vespa restaurations and didn't take any problems.
It comes with a good plastic cylinder, so no cons at it's packet.

Other: It's a perfect product for this price :)
It's worth the price, buy it if you want some rosin core.
If you are going to use a lot, it's better to buy the 3 pack, it's really the cheapest :D

Pros: the main advantage of this item is it's package. it is very convinient: you just pull it from the tube in such amount as you need. no more leftovers or melted in mass solder as with simple wire without a package. the thickness of solder is good for small appliance (circuit boards and wires less then 0.5mm^2)

Cons: it says that it is rosin core, but i couldn't see it. it looked as a solid wire without any rosin inside to me. the claimed length of 1 meter is either not very much. it won't last long if you use it regulary.

Other: it is a solder in very convenient package. and even if it doesn't contain any rosin in it, it's not a big deal, cause you commonly use an extra flux while soldering.

Pros: Well this got shipped fast. I have had it but have not been able to use it yet. It is nice and compact.I like the way it is shaped also. It is a good thing to have if you are experienced (or think you are like I was)

Cons: Well it is in a yellow case. I really dont like the color yellow. It comes out of the hole somewhat bad. I had to struggle a little.

Other: I think that for this price it is stupid not to buy. If I was a person who worked soldering then I would buy them by the box loads

Pros: Very pleased with the quality of this stuff. Good amount of rosin, and it flows well. Doesn't eat away at tips like cheapo lead free solder either. I've used this for both delicate surface mount work and much bigger multicore cable and it doesn't bubble or spit flux at all.

Cons: None! Well, apart from the cheesy container but that doesn't matter to me.

Other: I'm ordering more of this! Much cheaper than the shops for an equal quality. Buy this if you're tired of cheap lead free stuff spitting at you and destroying tips.

Pros: Gives very god solder joints. Better than what I get from standard Savbit Alloy 5 core Ersin Flux that I get from worldwide distributor RC components. Very thin solder strip makes it perfect where you need detailed control and/or small amounts of solder.

Cons: You'll quickly need more, because its so thin.

Other: I could not be happier with a solder for my electronics solder jobs. But you'll quickly need more, because its so thin. However I think thats a good thing - so I have already put in my second order for another 10 tubes! As they are so very cheap!

Pros: Very good solder! Its nice with lead in the solder. It does make it very much easier to do the soldering jobs good. I use this to solder LEDs becus they dont like heat so much and this is perfect as it melts at a low temperature. Its not much more to write about a simple product like this Swedish: Väldigt bra produkt som säkerligen gör det lättare att löda än lödtråden här hemma i Sverige. Detta eftersom den innehåller bly. Den smälter ju vid lägre temperaturer du vilket gör det lättare att löda saker. Eftersom jag löder mycket dioder som inte gillar värme så mycket så är det viktigt med en lödtråd som smälter vid låga temperaturer.

Cons: Not much nagative to say about this product. It could have been a bit more in the tube. But you have the 3-pack for that! :) Swedish: Inte mycket negativt att säga om denna produkt. Det kunde ha varit lite mer i förpackningen, men då har man ju 3-packen istället! :)

Other: Very good! Cant get much better with a so simple product! Swedish: Väldigt bra! Kan inte bli mycket bättre med en så pass simpel produkt!

Pros: Great Solder for a beginner, like me, who bought this to fiddle with! container is very useful, although i melted mine shut through carelessness! solder melts quickly, is thick enough to do what i needed it to, although for some specific projects a finer grade may be needed.

Cons: None really, apart from the cap sliding off a little (when not melted in place :/) maybe if dealextreme could get this 1$ solder in different grades....

Other: good solder, even better price, good product and will definitely buy again

Pros: Very easy to use with the cap having the hole which allows the thin solder wire to pass through. It basically becomes a handle for your solder wire. When I'm done, I just let it cool and I slide it back in and I'm good to go. These are perfectly suited for electronic soldering, such as nintendo DS and circuit board.

Other: I'm getting into soldering electronic components and gadgets. I did some light soldering in the past but now I need to repair electronic gadgets and gizmos. I fixed up my NDS with this with ease. I love the size/thickness of the solder and the design of the case. Price seems a bit high I suppose for a small amount of solder but it's being shipped from overseas so no complaints here. I looked around at local hardware stores and they sell them for a lot more. I suppose the price is set low for market value but I wish it was cheaper since the product isn't very complex.

Other: the solder is great and works like a charm u would have to be out of your mind not to own this for the crazy low price it is its only a dollar
