Have you ever notice that iPhones speakers just don't go very loud. It’s kind of a shame they don’t have better sound. Apple is definitely leading the way in mobile media but it’s sad to admit some of the less expensive phones can produce a much louder and much crisper sound. Hopefully iPhone can do something about this soon and maintain their status as industry leaders.
Since we love our iPhones so much and they really are great media players you can solve this problem by getting a great docking station and turning your phone into a boom box. This is a convenient way to add great sound to your phone as well as being able to charge it. It has an easily readable 2” backlit LCD. It is compatible with iPod as well as iPhones and has a 3.5mm audio in jack.  Built is an FM receiver capable of picking up all the standard channels. It has a great frequency range and crisp clear interference free sound. The output power to the speakers is 6W in total.
It is the perfect mate for your genuine Apple gadgets or for any other phone or media player with a 3.5mm jack.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Great material, well finished.
    Good looking lcd display, the brightness can be adjust or just turned off.
    Cool music volume, not for a real party but it's surprisingly powerful.
    Easy to set time and alarm.

    Cons: Took more than it usually takes to deliver, about 1,5 month.
    I think the only thing that annoys me is that the dock adapters are really, really hard to pull off after it is installed. I had to use a kitchen knife and that caused a scratch on it.
    The radio signal is not the best.

    Other: I recommend it a lot, i'm very satisfied.

    Pros: - Easy to use - Good sound quality and decent power output - The remote control is responsive and has good range - Feels nice to the touch - The clock is well lit and looks pretty

    Cons: The first time I tried to dock my Iphone on this, I felt a snap, and the connector in the dock caved in. I had to disassemble the unit to fix this. Turns out that the dock connector is glued to the inside of the case (instead of using screws) and the glue is of poor quality, so it broke off when I pushed it down with my phone. I had to take the unit apart and re-glue the dock with epoxy adhesive to fix it. Works pretty well now.

    Other: Even though I had build quality problems, they were relatively easy to fix. I'm pleased with this product.
