MINIPA ET-870C 2.0" LCD Digital Multimeter (Voltage + Current + Resistance + Temperature / 1*6F22)

Pros: - Very good build quality - Nice fell rubber case, not slippery - temperature sensor to 750 'C. I have tested it to 450 'C :). good temperature response. - Perfect if you heat up baby milk to the correct temperature of 37 'C :) - 9V battery, easy to replace. I got a wirking battery shipped in hte case. - Clear and readable display in every angle

Cons: - No backlight. But who works in the dark ? :)

Other: - It is a little more expensive than other multimeters on dealExtreme, but I think its worth it.

Pros: A very good multimeter! it's really Minipa brand. The number are very big and easy to see. I haven't tested if it's precise yet, but i don't think it's needed. It comes with the temperature probe and a unused 9v battery. You need a screwdriver to remove the battery cover and connect the battery.

Cons: Absolutely no cons! If you need other features, like backlight, auto range, frequence, just choice a more expensive model. Don't come with a cover.

Other: Next time i will buy the advanced minipa models.

Pros: I used this to work and I liked it. It's precise and easy to use. The english manual is ok. The built quality is perfect and the rubber case has good utility for who use it in dirty garage. I tested the temperature sensor with a traditional thermometer and it worked nice. The 9V battery case is under the rubber case, wich protects from accidental plugoff. The display is very clear and easy to see in all angles.

Cons: No cons until now

Other: It isn't cheapest then others, but the value is correct. Save your money, buy this one.

Pros: El multimetro es bastante preciso, posee una goma protectora de muy buena calidad, al igual que un pie, en su base como para poder ver las mediciones de una manera más practica. La pantalla LCD tiene unos números bastante grandes como para que la lectura sea cómoda y legible. El producto además viene con las puntas de medición, una sonda para medir temperaturas (bastante exacta) y la batería de 9 volt.

Cons: Por el momento no he encontrado contras en el producto. Tal vez, si se puede llamar "contra" es que se debe utilizar un destornillador para colocar la batería.

Other: Tal vez sea un poco mayor el precio en comparación con otros multímetros, pero vale la pena.

Pros: Very good equipment, a perfect finish build, all works perfect, It took only 20 days to arrive here in my country, in Brazil.The Dealextreme's care has always been done by people knowledgeable and interested.good price and good equipment

Cons: the box came a little dented and the manual is Chinese! I would expect the manual in English at least.But no problem, I went into the manufacturer's website and got the manual for a similar model.

Other: Very good, the best in the dealextreme's Multimeters(cheap too)

Pros: It's a very good item to have at home, you'll always need to do anything eletrical at home! your build quality is amazing and this is a genuine Minipa's Multimeter with a number to comfirm, that is the best cost-benefit category

Cons: the only thing i have to complain is the manual, this could be in English for less but no it's Chinese. otherwise is the box came much dented which could result in damage to the product but no PROBLEM!

Pros: It is a really good looking multimeter! Great quality, nice precision and the rubber case make it less slippery, so it will be more difficult for you to let it fall off. Came with a 9V battery already, I just had to open with a screwdriver to remove the battery case, connected the battery and ready to go! I already tested it on some circuits and batteries. It’s working smoothly! :D

Cons: No cons at all! Better than I expected! If you want a good multimeter for general measuring this is the one!

Other: Buy it! you won't regreat!

Pros: A lot of functionality, temperature measuring is very flexible during soldering or other heating of electronic components. "HOLD" button is also very useful, for example, when catching voltage peaks

Cons: You need to take off blue protector "cover" when inserting battery

Other: Good product for those who doesn't need a really professional tool with great number of capabilities (transistor measuring, capacitors, etc). But it is a perfect tool while working with Arduino for example

Pros: It works well so far. It has a nice protective rubber cover. and a nice stand can't be opened from the back to have the multimeter standing at an angle one can read the numbers easily from. The cords are solid and fit well

Cons: the cords could be a bit longer. ordered another pair of longer ones.

Other: Overall a good purchase. Give it a try. It seems that products with non-moving parts from dealextreme are more likely to work ;)

Pros: Very nice case. Small, durable materials - plastics and rubber with nice design. It can measure everything: voltage, current, resistance, and even the temperature. Good measure cables and battery included - you can use it right out of the box. Mostly very accurate results.

Cons: I have suspition that although some reviewers say it's an original minipa, that it is not. I didn't find the same modelnumbers at minipa webpager. But if it's not, nevermind, it is still very good device. I think there is some minor issue with measurinng lower ohms. I tried to measure between 1-3ohms and the results are not very accurate and everytime it gives slughtly different results

Other: Very good machine for such a low price. It could measure better the low ohms, but everything else seems accurate. Desing, functionality and price make this gadget definnitely a good buy
