Pros: * The unit is fast at delivering results. * Multiple measures can be taken (length, area, volume) automatically. * Supports both metric and imperial measurements. * Has a low powered laser pointer so you know where you're pointing. * Built in spirit level to help get accurate results. * Large easy to read LCD screen * Comes with a battery for instant use. * Takes widely available 'square' 9v batteries * Lightweight

Cons: * No back-lit LCD, it won't be any good in low light situations. * Construction is solid, however this would not go well in a trades man's bag, and would likely get damaged. * No safety pouch included * It's a bit chunky. This is probably because of the ultra sonic generator and long tunnel to keep the "beam" focussed.

Other: If you need to measure length, area or volume quickly and painlessly, then you can't go past this. It's cheap (compared to local Australian prices), well built and surprisingly useful. If you need one, buy it.

Pros: affordable. is able to measure speed. continuous measurement can be empty spaces. present a simple calculation of area and volume. strong laser light. measurement can be made comfortable during the day.

Cons: very difficult to do with laser targeting. necessarily need to do to make the targeting measure. the laser should have a separate key. goods in the rooms with a very high margin of error. need to make continuous measure of control. can not trust the measurements. a little older. Although smaller than the measurement could be made easier.

Pros: - Quick measure
- Stable results in appropriate cases (see cons)
- Has different useful modes (length, square, volume, sums of sequence measures)
- Has the level built in (helps get more exact results)
- Nice beeper
- Informative LCD (shows measuring mode; shows what dimension you're measuring now)
- Good built

Cons: - Works fine with empty rooms only. Any object in measure sector (which gets wider with longer distance) can distort results
- No backlit
- Laser guide cannot be switched off (in some cases it useless though)

Other: Very useful tool when you apply it to appropriate area (for example for measuring interior of almost empty building). In some other cases simple tape measure much more useful (for example you can't measure road width with this device).

Pros: Reasonable build quality Comes packed with batteries - ready to use Has a nice bubble level Very ergonomic No brainer to use but a quick read thru well written I found it pretty accurate and reproducible results Flashing icons are pretty intuitive to work out - needs no assumed techical knowledge

Cons: Garish bright yellow color and plastic construction gives it a toy like quality -won't loose it easily But make no mistake it does the job well Distance limite to 16m but there is an additive feature x2 - taking max. measurements to 32m

Other: Works right out of the box to its limitations as stated A workhorse with reasonable build No complaints

Pros: Very easy to operate even without instructions The activation of the laser pointer on simultaneous measurement trigger button makes sense - this is the way it correctly made Precise to the cm - if the measurement is incorrect it's operator error - did not follow instructions regarding boundary interference Comes with spirit level - very good ! It comes with 2x additive measurements - thus effectively making it a 36m range!

Cons: Looks toy like but don't let that deceive you It is accurate - though with limitations of the ultrasonic wave reflection - look at instructions as your target has to be flat and wide enough without interfering object on side of the path of a BROAD beam No backlighting

Other: Precise, easy to use -it's a no brainer!

Pros: Very, much very easy to use, the price too is good for this equipment. It show many options for using, to many sizes, and kind of environment.

Cons: Lacks precision. Sometimes it show the differences for two marks. I don´t have one hundred percent of trust in its measure.

Other: I indicate this product for a peoples buy. BUT remember: Good, easy to use, but lacks precision

Pros: great measure device, relation between price and quality is awesome, im really glad with the product. its really precise, i love the surface and volume options, i have saved a lot of time, im doing some makeovers at home and its really helpful, im very happy with it.

Cons: it looks kind of a toy, but i dont think that will be a con, it the price that im paying, it has to be a really flat surface, and clear from other objects, if not some times it gaves u a wrong measure.

Other: highly recommended for home use, another device to add to my toolbox
