2.2" LCD Digital Panel Voltmeter with Blue Backlight (7.2~20V)

Pros: Small and easy to setup. I can simply hookup to my car. Just connect to any power supply like cigarette lighter or radio and keep an eye on the battery usage. quite accurate also. it actually measure from 6.99v

Cons: Not really a con as you can see in the photo there is no box to cover back so it would have to mount into something or you have to make a box yourself. It all depend on your project requirement. Blue LED is lighting from one side.

Other: It a might not be most accurate (I have no means to test it real accurate anyway) but it is perfect for my project. And blue LED is great.

Pros: Very nice little voltmeter. Large easy to read screen in day or night. Plug n play connection with a bit more wire.It supports easy fit clip in cut-out.

Cons: Very poor packaging. Mine was crushed, but managed to fix it with a bit of microsurgery.
A few cents dearer than elsewhere, but still a good bargain.

Other: The panel is not sealed, so it would be useless in a marine environment unless fully protected from moist air.
Perfect for the car. Looks sexy too. Use it for monitoring 2 batteries with a 2 way switch, or just for one battery via the accessories switch.

Pros: If you have a old-car like mine, its a must to have a volt-meter in your car to check if the generator is charging your battery.
I've built this display under my dash out of sight. But i use it quite often to give me a piece of mind.
The LCD works out of the box very well. But the readings were not accurate at first.
If you have a good multimeter of voltmeter, calibrate the meter by turning a variable resistor on the back.

Cons: Calibration of the volts were off, not accurate enough. After calibration it was fine.

Other: Good product, built quality is very good. Altough the wires are bit short. You can always solder some larger wires onto the old ones.
The LCD is very good readable and the wires connect with a connector like your avarage PC fan.

Cons: - Minimum voltage measuring 7.5 v, easily resolved with a small adjustment in your circuit, then how can serutilizado panel in a home made variable source. This is not a problem poi's it's designed to monitor a 12V battery. Just do the following as the input power measurement and maintenance are done by them and there is a wire doi ic 7805 which regulates the maintenance of the measuring circuit for the 7805 release ic 5v output it needs its en Entada least 7v, so it measures only starting this tension. To resolve this issue simply unplug the Vin pin of the IC 7805 and feed with an intention of not will change below 7.5 V. And then the pins before applying the voltage to be measured with a tera in common with the gnd strain IC7805

Other: - if you understood the proposed modification that you can mount it with a variable source

Pros: -Very Cheap
-Easy to use
-Easy to install
-Works Fine !

Cons: I bought one to install in my variable source, but I didn't read that it works from 7.5V. So, when I needed to use it On 3V coudn't read. Then, I did the adaptation in the 7805 using an small 9V batery and then it worked very well. Now I can use it on my variable source from 1.25V to 15V without problems.

Pros: - fairly priced
- item was received in a simple white box
- LCD is bright, visible and has a nice blue back light.
- tested mine with a multimeter, accuracy was within 0.07V.
- does not require a separate power source.

Cons: - depending on use, size may be an issue.
i.e. on a car or on a static platform, it's not a problem, but it's a little big for a motorcycle.
- the item is not water proof, the circuitry at the back is exposed hence it may not be useful in outdoor applications. however, it should be a relatively simple job to seal it up, either with silicon or in another enclosure.
-the wires are a little short, but again, simple fix to extend if required.

Other: - Overall, it's a good buy.
- Again, price was alright, but who woul;dn't want everything cheaper? =)
- Build quality is good, an unlike other reviewers, mine came calibrated accurately enough.
-Bottom line: nice blue LCD voltmeter at a fair price.

Pros: Very easy to use indicator. Nice blue light is visible even in bright sunlight. Ease of use is very good. I installed it in the car, but nothing yet has fallen off and everything works without any problems.

Cons: not found now

Other: Very handy device. I was going to collect itself is the same, but in time he saw ready for DX. I would spend more money collecting it himself. Thank you for your good idea. Definitely going to buy another such.

Pros: Small and very efficient blue light makes night vision, measure the voltage quickly and accurately, really like this product, installed in the console of the car is very useful.

Other: Very good unit. Works well and easier to read than I expected. I will buy again for round 2 prototype and possibly limited production run.

Cons: THEY SHOULD USE A HIGHER QUALITY PLASTIC CASE BECAUSE THE PCB AND THE LCD IS REALLY GOOG FINISHING THAT DESERVE A BETTER LOOK PLASTIC PANEL

Other: EXCELENT I COMPARE WITH THE READING OF A FLUKE 87V MULTIMETER AND IT WAS REALLY CLOSE. THE VOLT METER WONT READ OVER 19.99 VDC IT WILL MARK A OVER RANGE READING
