2.4" 5MP CMOS HD 720P Car DVR with Night Vision/Motion Detection/G-sensor(Black) + Rearview Camera

Pros: Good files quality, even read on a large screen. The rear camera allows double recording, at the same time (two different files). Automatic start with contact (when working, see "cons")

Cons: Seems to be very fragile. Silver finish not inconspicuous behind the windshield. The front led's are not IR, but very bright white, unusable during the night. After a few weeks of use, the battery is weak and need 15 minutes charging to allow normal operation. So the automatic recording doesn't work when turning ignition on. I have to shut it down, drive a few kilometers and turn it on again. The built-in screen is very small, just large enough to program the DVR, you'll need glasses. When auto-recording is programmed, it is difficult to enter the menu : within two seconds, if no button is pressed, the DVR returns to recording.

Other: It will be easier to post videos of your driving on Youtube... ;-)

Pros: Good quality video.

Cons: Just like pascal60870 wrote before me. Because of recording starting problem when turning ignition on I connected this camera to my computer and it work like a dream. So, this is now my security camera. I do not use it in my car anymore.

Other: Fantastic DVR if it work.
