2.4Ghz 9dBi Hi-Gain Omnidirectional Antenna for Wifi Routers (2400-2500MHz)

Pros: Used it for an old PCI WiFi-card I lost the antenna for. Could receive 12 acces points while my laptop only saw 3 in the same room. Has pretty long cable so you can position the antenna where the signal is best. (for a PCI-card the computer itself often blocks the signal) Base is magnetic so you can stick it on any metal surface.

Cons: Was a little bit bend when it arrived but i guess that can't be avoided when shipping such a long item. Has a long cable so you loose some dB with it. The base is not large enough to balance the long antenna when using it on a non-magnetic surface.

Other: Couldn't use this on my senao access point to compare it with a standard 3dbi-gain antenna because of wrong connector. Only compared it with my laptop so can't confirm if this actually has good gain. But for what i use it for it was ideal.

Pros: Looks solid and pretty strong

Cons: Was shipped in a too-small envelope and received it bent..

Other: good price for a nice and small 9dbi wifi antenna

Pros: The antenne looks nice, it has a magnet to place on metals. and a cable to place the antenne somewhere in your room, around 3 meters of cable lenght.

Cons: The problem is the gain is not very high. and packaging, but its working.

Pros: Looks impressive, feels solid Reverse SMA Connector (I think?) fits my Netgear DG834G perfectly

Cons: Arrived bent in the post. The previous suggestion of sending it in a box would be good

Signal gain is not that noticeable, sometimes appears worse at times

Other: It's a cheap antenna, but the build feels quite solid and you are able to bend it 90 degrees at the base if you need to mount it somewhere else. The weight of the antenna may topple it over if the base isn't secured properly

Pros: Esta antena potencia en gran medida la señal del emisor. La diferencia es notable ya que al incorporar un cable de 1m aproximadamente se puede situar en la ubicación óptima para la emisión

Cons: Por muy potente que sea la señal de emisión, si el receptor no consigue emitir a una potencia equivalente, seguiran sin verse.
Contras del producto no tengo ninguno

Other: Si necesitas una antena con más potencia y que puedas poner donde quieras, esta es tu antena.

Gran potencia, buenos materiales y poco dinero ;)

Pros: - Not so big.
- Wire long enough to install it far from a device.
- Well-built.
- Very strong.
- Magnet to fix in a metal.
- Easy to install.
- Cheap.

Cons: This device is easy to use, but its not so good as I thought. Gain is not so good. I believe gain is about 10%. If you need more than this, you should seek for better options in DX.

I think sku.7878 is a good antenna. Its expensive, but if you need a good gain...

Pros: Strong build. Long cable run. Fits on most PCI wireless cards and Routers. Acceptable performance.

Cons: I think is not that powerful (9dBi)
After taking the plastic off I noticed the internal finishing could be better

Other: Worked for me. My computer is sitting in a corner and the Wifi signal is very weak. With this antenna I'm able to catch the signal back.
For the price is worth a try. If unsure, buy it.

too long of cable (signal loss)
inconsistent connector type on antenna (TNC vs RP-TNC)

Other: i have 2 WRT54G running on DD-WRT
one is in bridge mode
quite far apart and 2nd one was originally getting around 27% signal. now getting around 33~35% so it is a decent ~7% gain from original antenna
(i only switched one of the antenna on this)
