2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD Network Adapter for PS2 30000/50000

Pros: -Works great, I'm using it with SATA Samsung hd322gj, which is 320gb (although the software out there [like HDloader] won't use more than 120 (I just started trying OPL, I don't know its limit). Some games freeze, not only the games that are known to have problems with hdd use, but games that are supposed to be fine. But I still don't know if it's the adaptor's fault, I don't think so, I think it's a problem with my PAL ps2.
-It has two hinges so that you can use a 2.5" hdd and it won't be loose.
-the build quality is ok, the screws are good, but I don't trust the jacks, I'm being very carefully extracting it to add games
-Aesthetically, it looks great hooked up to the fat ps2. It looks original.

Cons: -It has to be taken out each time you want to add games. There's no way to connect a PC to the hdd while still inside the ps2, because there's no Ethernet port, there's a hole under the yellow sticker. Since I don't trust the build quality, each time I had to add games, I have to remove it very carefully.

Other: I absolutely recommend it. I live in Argentina, so ps2 network adapters are very hard to come by, and if you find one it's original and extremely expensive. This was shipped door to door no charge whatsoever and it got here in great conditions.

Pros: cheap price as a new one.

Cons: no network support
- it's only for connection of SATA HDD, Not
for network(no ethernet cable port)
- so if u gonna put your games into HDD,
there's just 2 ways.
1. connect HDD wit PC
2. or, put DVD titles in your ps2, and rip image
from dvd to HDD(attach HDD in PS2)
as I know, it can't support 2TB Hdd
- one of my bird tried, but he succeed 'til
just 1.5TB HDD. couldn't find a way to use
2TB HDD
On the pic, it has 2 metal pieces
-I guess, those pieces are 4 2.5" hdd
but my package has no those pieces.

Other: If you don't need network function for your PS2
this good is best choice.
but if u wanna use network, u gotta find
a genuine network adaptor and SATA-IDE
gender board.

Pros: It is for SATA disks, not for IDE, which I think it is better as SATA disks are not easier to find nowadays and are in general better than IDE.
Looks nice and original.
My PS2 model is 50050 which is higher than 50000 (the indicated highest supported model) and works fine. I think there is no difference between both models.

Cons: No network port. Just to connect the hard drive to the PS2 (fat model).

Other: It's nice that you can buy this from anywhere in the world (more or less). It took a while to arrive but it was worth the time.

Pros: Fits perfectly. Has SATA connection, you can plug both 2.5 or 3.5 HDDs. Works nice and easy. I've bought one, plugged an 500GB HDD and now alll my games are on it. Encaixa perfeitamente no seu tijolão. Tem conector SATA, para 2.5 ou 3.5.

Cons: Very expensive!!!! Muito caro!!!!

Other: If you have an old Plastation2 FAT OUTLINE (the big brick), buy it, plug an HDD, install Free MC + HD Loader, and transfer all your games to the HDD. No more disk changes, no more 'hiccups' during game. Buy it fast. PS2 peripherals are becoming rare. Se você tem um tijoão, compre. Instale um HD, instale o Free MC com o HD Loader e transfira todos os seus jogos para o HD. Nunca mais vai travar.

Pros: SATA interface really readable on my Seagate 750GB hard disk. This is good as now the SATA Har disk are more affordable than the PATA Hard disk. All my PS2 games installed. Really Happy about it.

Cons: No network adapter so no network to transfer my file from PS2 to computer. Only for FAT PS2 SCPH3XXXX or SCPH5XXXX. Not worked on my Samsung 2TB hard disk. The current highest capacity Hard Disk currently.

Other: All I really want is the PS2 can installed HDD with bigger Hard Disk Drive and this thing really do what I expected it to do.
