2.5" SATA USB 2.0 HDD Enclosure with Leather Pouch - Black

Pros: Very light material, gives the feeling of robustness due to be aluminum box, very easy to assemble the first time, easy to install on your computer. the speed of read / write are great for this article.

Cons: nothing to point to. it's all good for me.

Other: when I connected the box to transfer files laptop got the first time speeds of 41MB / s but then stabilized at 26 ~ 33MB / s, which is very good!

Pros: Really nice one one. I like the way it was built - very simple and easier to work! The hard disk I use was failed to wor with SONY VAIO - very high level of the temepartures, but it was built by tin and i'm really happy I'bought the one from iron tin. I had before one with so many holes on it - very dusty one ...

Cons: It seems the enclosure will be self disasebled by itself :) but I think that was the way it was designed. Accidently I was thhrowed from more than 50cm, util the hdd was connected - the box stayed full and the HDD works really fine and stable!

Other: Nice 2,5" HDD enclosure - cheap and simple solution

Pros: Nice clean looks. Comes with standard accesories, USB cord and pouch. Completely made out of metal, makes for decent heat sinking. The finish is nice and even and seems durable enough. The whole thing is pretty small, not much larger than the 2.5" disk it houses. The quality of the fake leather pouch is ok, I do not use it but it seems ok.

Cons: Needs a drop or two of CA glue to stay fully closed though it does not open accidentally in its original state.

Other: A great price for a very nice HDD enclosure.

Pros: Great wee device here for reviving the old laptop drives from the recently departed devices.
Simple .. so very simple to use. Just slide the drive in and close the lid and bingo you have a working external.

Cons: Only con is my friends Linux machine doesn't see the drive but that could be my drive in the device ..
But otherwise thats the only con I have found

Other: Handy tool for using old Lappy drives.
For the price you really can't go wrong .. with enclosures costing a lot more this one pretty much is the right price and right device.

Pros: He have a good price, and you can wait for a bad product but you are wrong because :
unlike other products that corrupt the files(test by HashCalc that test the archive and give one code for you compare),he doesn't(it means it have a good chipset[Sunplus II])
easy to transport, and you only need one USB port if it is 2.0
comes with leather cape

Ao contrario de outros produtos que corrompem arquivos, ele nao corrompe(testado pelo HashCalc que te da um codigo para voce comparar), o que siginifica ter um chipset bom (Sunplus II)
Vem com uma capinha de couro para transporte
Facil de transportar, e da para usar com uma USB apenas se sua porta for 2.0

Pros: Works perfectly! Very easy installation of the HDD. Cheap! Design is simple and nice. Cable came with another USB for power support, haven't needed it yet.

Cons: None, perfect! Pouch was completely useless fake-leather thingy but I don't use it so it doesn't matter.

Other: Great product for a decent price. Easy to use! Looks good and works fine.

Pros: case for my old ps3 harddrive - now i use it as a DNLA source for my TV. works well with my Netgear WNDR3700 router even if i can use only one USB socket (seagate HDD)

Cons: gets pretty hot, there is no air ventilation, you just enclose the harddrive

Other: cool, if you have a spare notebook/ps3 HDD, you can use it as a portable one

Cons: - Easy to open, case can fall open
- no screws to secure drive in place
- instructions do not show you how to insert drive
- cheap quality pouch is too big

Other: you just can't beat this price! I bent the clips slightly and it locks into place securely. I folded inside the first 2cm of the pouch and pressed it now it fits great.
I ordered 2 of these to make use of otherwise junk drives lying around the workshop, I intend to order more in the future!

Other: Overall it's great product. If you need 2.5" HDD Enclosure then this is the one. It's works and cost just few dollars. I recommend it!

Pros: Its cheap , its fast and its small , all the features you like in a "portable"harddrive .
The case is this enough to dissipate heat generated.

Cons: When empty the case is to tight , when opening to insert a harddrive a plastic tool is recomended , otherwise its scratches easily

Other: Have an old hdd as spare couldnt get cheaper than this ! its small and fast . turns your old hdd into a great usb disk !
