Pros: This is a ruggedized meter. The yellow you see around it is a seperate soft plastic removeable cover. I bought it for the temperature probe, which I intend to use to see if my oven temperatures are off. It might save me from buying a new stove The capacitance, frequency, and transistor tester were a bonus for me. The probes and wires are substantial and make my old meter look like a toy.
Cons: I have to think of some cons?... OK, it didn't come with a case. I don't like the beep of the continuity checker, it is too quiet and quite high frequencey. There are no English instructions, but, if you are buying a multimeter, you probably don't need them.
Other: Best meter I own. You should buy one.

Pros: - can measure voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, hFE, frequency and temperature
- includes sturdy looking multitester test leads and a temperature probe
- has sockets for transistors and capacitors
- large, easy to read LCD display
- operates off a common 9v battery (included)
- includes a silicon protective backing
- has overload and low battery indication
- datahold switch
- good price for a lot of features
Cons: - does not include an English language manual
- does not have backlighting
- test lead resistance seems to be relatively high (the tester reads 0.5 ohms at the 0-200 ohm range)
- quite large and bulky
- does not include a carrying case or strap
Other: I would recommend this to friends.

Pros: A great meter. Very useful around the house and shed. The ohms, diode test and buzz test are great. The temperature and capacitance measurement are simple to use. It seems accurate on all measurements so far.
It is so comprehensive, it does all measurements I could want except clamp current measurements. I got the BM821A for that. It is good too.
Cons: The instructions are in Chinese. This is not a huge problem as the meter is so easy to use.
Other: Buy it. You will not be disappointed. It is great.
Auto power off will save me batteries.

Pros: Alright, I'm finally writing this review. The instrument gave me mixed feelings because, well, one cannot expect everything perfect for such a low price. To start with the advantages, the meter can measure alternating current among others. This is surprising in its class. It also has a rather impressive range of resistance up to 200Mohm. It measures capacity which is useful for the proving of the diagnosis of dried caps.
Cons: Probably the worst were the test leads. They came in a disastrous state where some kind of lacquer insulated them. I had to use rough sandpaper methods to make them work reliably. Next was the capacity connector - the sheet of metal it's made of was bent much. I straightened it. During the process, I also noticed drops of solder all over the inside. I threw them away. Last, but not least, there was the plastic stand problem. It was bent. I though a lot of the best approach and finally remembered a trick used for bent heli props: Put it in boiling water. So I boiled the plastic stand for awhile and sure enough it returned to the pristine shape. Other than that, I thought it would have had a full 4-figure display instead of the old boring 3+1/2 digit ICL7106 one. The continuity beeper stops beeping at around 40ohm (60mV) which is too low to signal a permeable direction of a diode.
Other: If you aren't that wealthy, put this one on your wish list as it will definitely help you progress.

Pros: Multimeter very cheap, a lot of different measures, good manufactured. Easy to use. Compared to other multimeters of the same price it is the best because all of his caracteristics. Big display to easy read of measures. Test lead comes in good state and comes with the required 9V cell. Measures are correct.
Cons: Manual comes only in chinese ,but that´s not a problem to use it. External case a little damaged. Not have backlight
Other: Don´t know what to write here
