2*AA Powered USB Emergency Battery Charger with Flashlight Function for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G

Pros: First of all, it actually works. I put 2 new cheapy alkaline batteries into it and plugged in my iPhone cable. It immediately went into charge mode. The built-in LED is a nice feature to have. Build quality is acceptable, not flimsy at all. Lightweight and small, perfect for a backpack.

Cons: 2 AA's aren't enough to provide a full charge. I started at 26% and it stopped charging at 44% in the span of 30 minutes. Opening the case is a bit tricky. It requires you to use your nails to slightly spread the cover and then rotate it off. The action is similar to getting at a swiss army knife blade.

Other: I bought this to see if it would be an appropriate addition to my disaster kits. Because it uses AA's and will actually charge the iPhones in my house, it passes. You'll just need to have a large supply of AA's.

Pros: I used 2 AA Ni_METAL recharchable batteries to charge my phone. it gone from almost 0 to about 60% of the full charge in about an hour.

Cons: be carefull when you put your batteries inside, put them in the write order. Also the flash light is very week and prety much useless. It is build from only onle led.

Other: if you afreaid to get stucked with outr phone without a charge, always have it in site. Also if you are going to a trip were electricity is hard to find (desert camping, miliraty service....). Ofcouse you will need an apropiate cable for your phone as well.

Pros: Operates as advertised, slider switch for flashlight, off, or USB modes. Extremely flexible option for providing power to a variety of USB devices. Is small and compact.

Cons: None that I am aware of at this stage. I did have this in a backpack and found the switch had moved from 'off' to 'light' mode. Not really an issue, probably my fault.
The mA rating quoted in the specifications do not match the rating on the product picture.

Other: Before purchasing from Deal Extreme, I search high and low for this product in New Zealand. There are emergency chargers available but not with mini-usb charging support. Using this emergency charger makes that problem a non-issue.

Pros: Works as expected. Very easy to use. Just insert 2x AA batteries, connect your iPhone/iPod USB cable to the iDevice and the charger, move the slider switch to "USB" and you're away laughing. The torchlight is a handy feature too.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of really. The only thing is perhaps built quality can be "sturdier", but for the price I really can't complain.

Other: Everyone who owns an iPhone/iPod should have one of these handy - very useful!

Pros: good charger,very easy of use...ideal for travel if you are a lot of time out of the electric network... compact,small and plastic is resistent

Cons: the light of the led is very poor...it could include two leds and recheargeable batteries and us to micro usb adapter for compatibility with all t smartphones

Other: is cheap,don't consider so much quality but acomplishes what it promises
