What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. • not bad, lack of description

Pros: It is working! Based on well-known SiliconImage chip. PCI-E x1 interface.

Cons: No description of port configuration. I had to figure out by myself how to configure external ports. RAID-5 onboard BIOS is useless, since it has only 2 cative ports. But if you have SATA port multiplier it could be useful.

Other: Worth it's money. But it could be a 4-port board.

Pros: I have this running under Windows XP SP3 with the supplied drivers and a second one in the same computer. My Hotway HF2-SU2S2 will connect to each port, and the port multiplier function built into this Esata card will allow 4 hard drives to be seen separately in disk manager and all four drives can be spanned as a single drive. For example if you have four drives of 2 terabytes then you can span them as a single drive letter with a capacity of 8 terabytes.
It works seamlessly, there was no need for software trickery to make it work as long as the jumpers are set to enable the external Esata ports.
The Esata card will work on 2 ports and the two sets of jumpers on the card will set each port to either internal or external.

Cons: No cons. It just works.

Other: Good value, build quality is good, port multiplier function works.
