Pros: Comes with a drivers cd (mini cd).
Windows XP recognized it without using cd.
Good value. I remember seeing something similar at Radioshack for a lot more some time ago.
Looks durable enough.
Cons: Cord could be a little longer.
Labels for which is controller 1 and which is number 2 would be helpful, I ended up making my own labels.
Did not work for wireless controllers.
Other: Good way to recycle psx, ps2 controllers.
Does not work with wireless ps2 controller or remote control. But it lets me play games on my computer while waiting to get a ps3, so I like it.

Pros: This is a very good accessory for your computer if you like the playstation two controllers better than cheap joypads that are sold in other places. other pros? -works with most games -works with regular playstation 2 controllers made by sony -works with controllers not made by sony -is easy and fun to use -installation is easy if you know what you are doing
Cons: -not really a con, kinda stupidity, it wasn't working for me because there is a CD in between the cardboard piece once you open it, you HAVE to use this to install the controllers -did NOT work with guitar hero guitar(wired one AND wireless), and this is what i wanted to use it for the whole time -can be a bit hard to calibrate -seems it is made of cheap material
Other: You should by this item IF and ONLY IF you are not going to use it to play guitar hero on your PC/MAC you will have to buy an xbox guitar to use on your computer because this one just won't do, and believe me, ive tried it MANY times

Pros: It works fine not very hard to use you can plug in and play it feels pretty strong looks like it is professionally made works with vice city and all other grand theft autos works with enter the matrix
Cons: does NOT work with guitar hero controllers does NOT work with guitar hero games does NOT work with total overdose i bought it to use with guitar hero but it never worked, so i just use it to play other games the cd for the driver was hidden inside the cardboard the back of the box gives directions for a different convertor
Other: u should buy it if you want to play any game OTHER than guitar hero/rock band on your pc

Pros: Works in linux as a generic human interface device. That means in linux, it just works, no drivers, no fussing. I didn't test under windows or OSX, or on my PS3.
Works with PS1/2 arcade sticks.
Works with MAME! It should work with most any other emulator as well.
Cons: It appears that every time you connect it, it somehow auto-chooses which port is 1 and which is 2. I only saw this happen once, so maybe I was mistaken.
Other: Buy it if you have some old PS1/PS2 controllers, and want to put them to good use.

Pros: cool, works great in win xp and linux, also in win 7, the cd came with virus, or at least that´s what my anti-virus said, but, i don´t think so, the cd came with the pertinent drivers.
Cons: I opened to take a look at the circuits and it´s very crappy.
but it works, and oes the job perfectly.
and the connectors are a little bit loose, they dont clip very good with your controller connector, if you pull too much they separate.
Other: buy it, i don´t have too much to say about it, i liked, and it works, technically is the best adapter if you want you can even mod it to get inside a controller and turn it into a usb controller.

Pros: - Works with every emulator I've used so far.
- It's pretty cheap considering similar products cost 10 to 15 euro's here.
- Even the build quality isn't all that bad.
- Works on Windows 7 Pro x64. Just plug it in and the driver will automatically be installed (if you have an internet connection). But if you can read this I'm sure that won't be a problem.
Cons: - Haven't used it enough to encounter anything bad so far but I think there aren't any real cons.
Other: It's cheap. It works. It will probably last for a long time so what more do you want (for this price)?

Pros: - Works straight out of the box with Windows 7 x64, although the cd came with drivers.
- Very cheap compared to similar products here in Europe that cost triple as much as this one
- Works with Playstation 3! It's plug and play, it is recognized as 2 differente controllers, even though you only have 1 PS1/2 controller plugged to the adaptor
Cons: - Maybe its not compatible with every game, but with the majority of them sure will work,
- None that i am aware
Other: buy it, i don´t have too much to say about it, i liked, and it works, technically is the best adapter if you want you can even mod it to get inside a controller and turn it into a usb controller.

Pros: - The USB cable is too short
- Not needed to use the CD drives that came with the product: Windows automatically recognized
- Good quality
- Two people can play simultaneously
- I have not found similar in price and quality in Brazil
Cons: - The packaging is poor: the wires came sharply bent
- The vibration did not work, but this may be the Windows Setup
Other: I do not have the PS3, so I can not say it works with the PS3 controls ... but I believe it is compatible
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Perfect way to reuse wireless PS2 controllers on the PS3!
Cons: None I could find!
Other: Whether you want to use PS2 controllers on Windows or a PS3, this is an inexpensive way to reuse older controllers.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: *Converts PS2 controllers to USB/PC *2 controllers can be plugged in at once
Cons: *Cable was bent at a bad angle, which is not good for the wires. *PS2 plug side is held by a spring which digs into the plastic. Leaves scratches but also, I don't feel as if it'll hold even a light yank. *The driver CD can be a little confusing. Look at the package it says "PU302" and "PU305" on the other side, on the disc, there's a file with a similar name. THAT is the only one you install. Yours may come with a different number, I only ordered one. I've also seen a similar product on DX which might use a different driver. *Says it supports dualshock, but so far I've had no luck getting rumbles, but I've seen reports of success by other people. Might be OS or controller dependant. *My real PS2 controller will not respond with the circle, triangle and R1 and R2 buttons. The rest map out just fine. However, my PS1 MadCatz from back in the day works perfectly. The slots don't seem to matter, so it can't be the adapter, might be driver issues. *The slots are not
Other: It's a cheap way to remove keyboards from your gaming experience if you're willing to put up with a little frustration over drivers and compatibility. If you're a gamer, this should be worth your trouble.
