    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Easy to install, just find an unused vacuum tap or connect it with the enclosed fitting to an existing line. These are great to monitor your vacuum for engine operating condition and for hypermpg. Contrary to what some ignorantly boast, you can't learn it by feeling the gas pedal.

    Cons: The glass is smoked so you're gonna have to hook up the wires to a battery source which comes on when the ignition is switched on. Also, you'll need some wire because the attached wires aren't likely to be long enough.

    Other: If you need a vacuum gauge for whatever this is a decent unit for the price. I'll probably get another.
